FADE IN:

1 INT. BEDROOM - DAY

A BOY sits on the bed. He looks through the window. He isLARRY. He looks through the window, but his mind is clearlyelsewhere.

A beat as the TV starts. He winces. He jumps right to the tvcontroller and he stops the tv. He breaths heavily.

LARRY (V.O)(he looks to the clock)

Its 5 oclock. Ive been lookingthrough the window, in blacknesssince 3. Im not feeling well, itsone of those moments when I ask

myself "what am I going to do?". Noanswers click. But thewindow....winks.

We inspect the window.

LARRY (V.O)For the ordinary people its only asimple window, a bedroom window, anobject. For me is something more. Idont know what. But there is aforce inside of my mind thatthreatens me, that wants me dead.

And he is a person. An evil.

Larry closes his eyes.

LARRY (V.O)And I know his name.

(he opens his eyes)His name is....John.

2 INT. BATHROOM - DAY

Larry washes his face. He looks in the mirror.

A SCREAM. A LAUGH FROM THE OTHER ROOM.

Larrys heart is pumping. He closes his eyes again. Breathesheavily.

CONTINUED: 2.

JOHN (O.S.)Hey Larry! Larry! I know you hearme! Come on! Lets have a drink.

Larry washes his face again. He ignores the calling.

He gets out. Darkness as he turns the light off.


Larry lies on the bed. He watches TV.

LARRY (V.O)I hear him every single day. I wantto make him stop, but I dont knowhow. The doctors said that he isonly in my mind. If I manage to

control my will, Ill manage tocontrol him. And somehow, stopkilling.

The mobile phone RINGS. Larry jumps. Scared. He answers.

LARRY

Hello?

Larry drops the phone. He runs out of the room.

4 INT. HALL 1 - DAY

Larry turns on the lights.

5 INT. KITCHEN - DAY

He sits at the table.

LARRY (V.O)I somehow managed to find religion.Sounds strange, but it helps. WhenI start to hear him, I get to thekitchen and start praying. He getsaway.

Larry starts crying.

LARRY (V.O)Usually, my tears help me do thedamage...to him. They get him away.

Larry gets up.

6 INT. LIVING ROOM - DAY

Larry enters the room. He looks around.

LARRY (V.O)But there are times when he justwont go.

Larry gets angry.

LARRY

Whats the problem John? Are youscared of me? Come here! Lets endthis. Now! Im sick entire of you.

Larry gets in his knees. Crying.

JOHN (O.S.)Hey Larry!

Larry gets up. He goes to the other room.


Larry gets in. He looks around. No one is there.

He gets back to go out -- but he sees something. Hemoves to the window and gets in his knees. A KNIFE FULL OFBLOOD. Larry is in tears.

LARRY

(SCREAMS)JOOHHNNNNN!!!!!!


Darkness. Lights on.

Larry gets in. He cleans the knife of blood. He stops.

CONTINUED: 4.

LARRY (V.O)It happens on and on. Exactly whenI thought it was all over. I dontknow what to think about. He killsand I take all the pain and all theresponsibility. I just want the

answers. I want to make him comeback. Maybe...I can KILL him.


A CHAIR. Larrys hands get to it, grabs it from the whip.

It is a red chair.

LARRY (V.O)I wanna make him come to me. He

cannot hear me anymore. I gotcontrol on myself. At least whenIm in my room, he can do things.But he cannot hear my thoughts. Hecannot know what Im thinkinganymore.

Larry looks at the chair.

LARRY (V.O)The red chair. He likes red. Thisway Ill make him spawn. So I cankill him.


Larry puts the chair in the middle of the room.

He stares at it.

LARRY (V.O)All or Nothing. The doctors saidthat I cant kill him. His only inmy mind. I dont believe em onehundred percent. I dont think Imall crazy. Its impossible. Atleast I will try even if I knowthat If I will fail, I will be deadin the next moment. I cant killsomething that lives only in mymind. But something that lives uphere can kill me. He can do it by

LARRY (V.O) (contd)ending in a suicide. But again, whywould he do that? He lives throughme. He will die to. But again. Imsure he is alive. He is real. He isplaying with my head. And Im going

to end his game.

Larry sets the chair in the right position. He breathes. Heturns --

LARRY

John!

Larry turns. JOHN sits on the chair. Relaxed and staring atLarry who freaks out.

JOHN

Whats the matter? Werent you

expecting me?

Larry looks scared at John.

JOHN

The same old guy. Your -- you know.Your --.

John laughs.

JOHN

Oh come on! Relax! Whats with allthis tension? Your very nervous.

And I really dont get why.

LARRY

Why are you doing this to me?

JOHN

Doing what?

LARRY

This. Everything. You are playingwith me. This is not a game.

JOHN

No, its not.

LARRY

You are acting like it is.

JOHN

Am I?

LARRY

Again. It seems to be a joke toyou.

JOHN

No. Not really. I really understand

what youre saying. I really do.

LARRY

Then leave me alone.

John gets up.

JOHN

I said I understand what are yousaying. Not that I agree with you.As a matter of fact I dont agreewith you. Let me get this to thepoint Larry. You need me. You would

be dead by now if it wasnt for me.

LARRY

(raising his tone)No. You ruined my life. Because ofyou I end up all the time in mentalinstitutes or in policedepartments.

JOHN

Thats your opinion. I respect it.But I cant agree with you. As amatter of fact, you should thank me

for my killing ability. I know todestroy proves, because of me youare just a suspect on a long list.

LARRY

Who are you? You are hidingsomething. I know it.

John goes to the bookshelf. He searches for some books.

JOHN

You should know who I am. You areseeing me for quiet some time.

LARRY

You never said anything.

JOHN

Well, you never asked.

LARRY

I would like to know who are you.

JOHN

Okay.

John looks to Larry. Serious.

JOHN

Maybe its time.

LARRY

Time for what?

JOHN

For you to know who I am. Isntthat the reason why you called me?I see you know things about me. Thered chair. You know I like red.

LARRY

Cut this cheap bullshit. Who areyou?

JOHN

Well, Larry. You havent changed.When the man tries to switch thesubject because he doesnt like it.You push. And you push quietenough.

LARRY

Are you going to tell me today? Oryoure going to make me mad?

JOHN

(laughing)You, mad? Oh come. You cannot gomad. We all go a little madsometimes. Except you. Thats whyyou created me.

Larry breathes heavily. His breathing can be heard by John.

JOHN

(looking in the back of thetv)

Well.

John turns to Larry.

JOHN

Im your twin brother Larry. Bloodfrom your blood.

LARRY

(forces a smile)

Do you think Im in a mood forjokes?

JOHN

We were born on February the third1994.

LARRY

Stop it.

JOHN

Blood from my blood. Blood fromyour blood. The same blood Larry

LARRY

I told you to stop it.

JOHN

But there was a problem. It was abig one. A huge one. Our mothercouldnt bring both of us, it hasbe an error in the operation. Sothe doctors had to choose. Only oneof them. Only a fucking soul. Onlyone. Of two. Looking the same. Oneshouldve been sacrificed for the

other. And guess what? They savedyou and they let me die.

Larry sits down. Tears fall from his eyes.

LARRY

You are not dead. To me.

JOHN

I never really died Larry. Thatsbecause I lived through you. I wasalways in your mind. There was amiracle in this tragedy. See, yourmind is universal. I can enter whenI want.

LARRY

So you are not real?

JOHN

Im not really sure. Really. Idont know.

LARRY

Why mom never told me anything?

JOHNBecause of me. I never wanted youto find out.

LARRY

Why not?

JOHN

I dont really know. I just didntwanted you to know who I really Am.You know. You have no idea how itis to live through another person.How it is to not be real. You dont

know this. I know all of thisstuff, because I confront with themfor a very long time. Why would Ilike you. For a person like me itwould be normal to dream of makingyour life miserable.

LARRY

Well, youve already do that.

JOHN

Not really. But I look forward tocontinue my job.

LARRY

You cant do that. Because I dontbelieve you.

JOHN

Oh, by the way. You know where do Iknow all of this from? From ourmother. I talked to her myself. Aday before she died. Thats after Ifound out about my grave. She toldme everything. I was as shocked as

you are. But remember. Im the badguy.

Larry looks terrified in Johns eyes.

LARRY

She didnt killed herself. Youvekilled her.

JOHN

Was it that hard to realize that? Ithink more clear than you do. Idont understand why they kept you.Anyway. At least she gave us both aname. She was a good mother.

LARRY

You monster! You are sick. Imgoing to kill you son of a bitch.

LARRY RUNS TO JOHN. WE HEAR THE KNIFE PUMPING.


Larry gets to the sink. He is full of blood on his hands. Hewashes his hands.

LARRY

(whispers)Ive killed him...

ROY, a guy looking exactly like Larry and John appear in themirror. Larry freaks out.

ROY

Hey.

LARRY

Who the hell are you?

ROY

What have you done?

LARRY

I killed you.

ROY

Me? My name is Roy. I am yourconscious.

LARRY

Who?

ROY

You know me. Youve talked to mebefore.

LARRY

No...

ROY

What have you done, John? What?

LARRY

Are you kidding me? Im not John.Ive killed John. My name is Larry.

You should at least know that whenyou pretend to be my conscious.

ROY

(tears in his eyes)There is no Larry, John. I dontknow whats happening to you. Ithought you are really going tofind the right path. But you aregoing from worse to worse.

LARRY

Are you trying to make me go mad?

Thats what are you trying John?

ROY

No. Im trying to help you. Thereis no Larry, its only you whothinks there is. Its only in yourmind. Remember.

BEGIN FLASHBACK:

12 INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

JOHN uses the knife in the bad.

ROY (V.O)You were killing all the time. Thenyou were turning into this guy, newcharacter that you created inLARRY. The good guy, the guy whoknows nothing. The guy who isscared of evil.

JOHN puts his glasses on. He turns into LARRY. He lays inthe bed watching TV.

END FLASHBACK

Larry moves his head left and right.

LARRY

No. Thats not true. You are lying.

Youre him.

ROY

No, John. You know very well who Ireally Am. You just need to admitit.

LARRY

Then how do you explain him beingin the same room with me? It wasall in my head. Right?

ROY

No. You were roleplaying.

BEGIN FLASHBACK:

14 INT. BEDROOM - NIGHT

Larry lies in the bed. Watching TV.

ROY (V.O)When you were feeling that hedidnt make an apparition for a

long time. You werecalling....yourself.

Larry gets out. He goes to the other room.

JOHN (O.S.)Hey Larry!

Larry comes back from the room. He gets in the bed, relaxed.He then gets frightened.

LARRY

What do you want from me?

END FLASHBACK

Larry has tears in his eyes.

LARRY

This is bullshit.

ROY

It may be. But its true. You didthis all.

LARRY

He was right in my face when Istabbed the knife in his stomach.How do you explain this Mr. Know ItAll?

ROY

(he seems sad)

You really believe that?

LARRY

Believe what? That I killed him?Yes. I do. Because I did it.

ROY

Youve killed yourself, John.

LARRY

What?

ROY

Thats why you are talking with meright know. You are dead.

LARRY

Bullshit...

Larry looks DOWN. HIS CHEST IS FULL OF BLOOD. HE IS HURT.SCREAMING FOR HELP. HE IS IN PAIN.

LARRY

Oh my God! Help me!

ROY

Its too late...

BEGIN FLASHBACK:

LARRY

You are sick. Im going to kill youson of a bitch.

Larry runs to the TV. He puts the knife down. The gets tothe tv, turns. He becomes John.

JOHN

Come on, show me what you got!

He takes the knife in his hand and stubs himself likesomebody else is in his face and doing it. He is laughing.Hurt.

END FLASHBACK:


Larry is laid on the ground. His eyes are opened. He isdead. The light is turned off as WE FADE TO BLACK.
