Landscape ID created a unique and sustainable landscape framewor for a 125 acre high-densit, mixed-use deelopmen

in Bangalore. The scope also included reisions to the master plan and assistance with project phasing. Landscape ID als

assisted client in hiring local landscape and infrastructure consultants and in coordinating with the international urba

designer and MvRDv for this project. Landscape ID also adised client on the deelopment of arious projects in th

masterplan and assisted client in ealuating other consultants designs. The Urban Design is b Perin Eastman and Co

Internation al. The scope also included coordination with all the infrastructure consultants and representation of the clien

at worshops and project meetings. The landscape framewor, again, was based on urban ecological approach.

Landscape ID wored on the temporar entr sig ns and gatewa for the project. This ent r was to be retained until th

construction of the main highwa b the goernment was completed. Post-completion, the highwa would become th

main access to the site. The idea for the temporar entrance was to create bold and iconic elements that smbolized the

arrial of a new cit. These features at the entrance were designed eeping in mind their eas inclusion within the futur

landscape design.

Landscape ID wored with the MvRDv - a leading global architecture rm, on the master-plan for a 17 acres high-densit

apartment communit. Landscape ID adised client on the housing laout, attended worshops, and proided design inpu

to MvRDv. The landscape master plan for the housing comunit was based on the concept of cells that can be expande

with the phasing of the project. The landscape was enisioned as a sustainable one and followed the principles of ecologica

urbanism. Because of these innoatie approaches, Landscape ID was ased to spea at the CTBUHs World Tall Building

Conference in 2010.

T H E L E D G E RSite DesignBengaluru, India

Landscape ID was ased b the architect to design a small project located on the outsirts of Bangalore. The challenge wa

to create a unique landscape for a low budget project. The main idea was to create three distinct courtards to cater t

different user groups. The landscape was designed to be intimate in order to inite leisure exploration. Circular trellise

were placed on either sides of the pool terrace to anchor the landscape and to proide central meeting areas.

The One Bashore site plan reflects the ibrant balance between public and p riate, commercial and resident

that mae urban infill mixed-use projects so successful and challenging. Public uses such as open par spac

and neighborhood retail are complementar to, but secluded from, residential amenities. The re-installation

historic bric paers and presered oa trees ensure a seamless transaction between old and new, historic a

contemporar.

The buildings that mae up this garden-stle apartment communit all border a central hard-edged, man-mad

water bod. With amenities that span bo th sides of th e pond are connected b a boardwal, the pond become

a unifing, defining feature for the communit. Meandering sidewal trails encourage pedestrian exploration o

the properts extensie woods and wetlands, presered b strategic building placement.

With apartment buildings nestled between grand Lie Oas, Courtne Palms gies the illusion of being an esta

lished communit of wooded seclusion. The truth is that it too an aggressie approach to protect the site

moss-draped oa canop while balancing wetland preseration requirements and the clients target densit. Th

resulting deelopment is well-shaded and woods, with a distinct character of its own.

The scope included landscape architecture for this high-end resort in Salalah region on Oman. Located in the

Dhofar region of Oman, the landscape planting responded to the seasonal monsoons that sweep in from easter

Africa, as well as the hotels modern architectural design. The design reflects th e modern architectural eleation

and creates a clean sophisticated response to the laout and character of the outdoor spaces. Hotel walwa

seeral swimming pools and smaller garden spaces, amongst the suites and illas, were carefull designed in th

landscape. The adjacent lagoon proided a sanctuar for local birds and marine life in addition to a waterwa

to receie boat traffic both of which were incorporated into the hotels perimeter boardwal and walwas

S E A H A v E N C O N D O - R E S O R TMaster P lanning and S i te Des ignPanama Beach, Florida

This was a Urban and landscape Design project for a 49 -acre beach front destination resort planned as a mixe

use, high densit, self-contained Towne with a broad ariet of serices and actiities. The Towne offers near

4000 liing un its, a 60,000 square foot conference center and oer 100,000 sq. ft. of retail. The tas also include

site planning, street-scape design, hardscape design, rooftop amenit design and construction documents for

326-unit condo-resort project that included 2 pool decs on top of a paring structure.

N A T I O N A L H A R B O RSi te Des ignWashington DC

A ibrant high densit, mixed-use project, National Harbor occupies 300 acres along a scenic 1.25-mile-long stretch o

the Potomac Rier. Just a 15-minute drie from the heart o f the nations capital, the project is designed to eoe a

atmosphere reminiscent of Georgetown, Annapolis and Baltimores Inner Harbor. The rst phase of National Harbor w

include approximatel 320,000 square feet of retail/dining/entertainment, 2,500 residential units, 150,000 square feet of lof

ofce, 250 timeshare/acation units, a 200-room luxur hotel and an additional 400 traditional hotel rooms. The project i

also designed to accommodate large outdoor public eents and street fairs. The scope of the project included streetscap

design, infrastructure coordination, lighting and signage coordination, coordination with arious project architects, urba

design coordination, oerall site grading for streetscape and for the retail slabs, and construction drawings.

S I F A HMaster P lan Ref inement and S i te Des ignSifah, Oman

Scope inoled master plan reisions and landscape masterplan for a destination resort along a 5m stretch of gulf coastlin

in Sifah, Oman. The resort is located on a dramatic hillside between the Hajjar Mou ntains and the Arabian Sea and feature

arious hotels, illas and apartments, a marina, an 18-hole PGA golf course and club, retail enues and restaurants. Th

masterplan reects Omans unique sense of place and draws inspiration from its landscape, histor and culture. Taing cue

from the local culture and enironment, the building and program elements proposed for the site are designed to distur

as little of the site as possible and to contribute to the Omani theme of social and enironmental sustainabilit.
