 Spring Clean Up,  beginning o n Friday, April 16, and run ning thro ugh Mond ay, May 10, 7AM to 7PM daily at Tufton L ake. After you’ve disposed of unwanted but useable items through the Community Yard Sales or by donations to local charities, Spring Clean Up gives you an easy way to discard unusable items that are too large for regular trash pick up. Dumpsters will be emptied, when necessary, on Monday mornings and Wednesday and Friday afternoons. Environmental and contr act restrictions apply:   Dumpsters are for residents’ personal use only. Commercial dumping is NOT permitted.   Place discards in side the dumpster, not on the ground. When dumpsters are full and the area is closed, please return later.  Do not dump construction debris; tires; paint cans; batteries; regular trash/garbage; leaves and yard waste; household or other  chemicals, including fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides.   Appliances containing coolant are NOT permitted. If you want to dispose of refrigerators, freezers or air conditioners, contact the Administration Office at (434) 589-8263 for instructions.  If you see abuse of these restrictions , please call Meg Gore at (434) 589-8263, extension 110. Thank you for helping keep this service available.  THE MARCH BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING will be held on Thurs., March 25. The meeting will be called to order at 6PM and go immediately into executive session to discuss legal, contract and personnel matters. The meeting will reconvene in open session in the Terrace Room at 7PM. There will be two member comment periods (see below). Sign up in advance at the Administration Office or before call to order in the Terrace Room. Also, members may contact Meg Gore in advance at [email protected] or 589-8263, ext. 110.  The meeting will be broadcast live on cable channel 10. See “Channel 10 Presents” for the replay schedule.
