3.0 Hnions at Enterprise Level
A la or #nion at the enterprise level may e createdeither y ,a6 independent re!istration or , 6charterin!. Independent re!istration is o tained ythe #nion or!anizers in an enterprise thro#!h theiro&n action instead of thro#!h iss#ance of a charter
y a federation or national #nion. An independent#nion has a le!al personality of its o&n not derivedfrom that of a federation.
FIndependent HnionF refers to a la or or!anizationoperatin! at the enterprise level that ac(#ired le!alpersonality thro#!h independent re!istration #nder Article3- of the La or +ode and R#le III" Section 3*A of theseR#les.
+harterin!" on the other hand" ta'es place &hen ad#ly re!istered federation or national #nion iss#e acharter to a #nion in an enterprise and re!isters thecreation of the chapter &ith the Re!ional Office
&here the applicants operates. The #nion recipientof the charter s called a chapter or local or charteredlocal. Its le!al personality is derived from thefederationG national #nion #t it may s# se(#entlyre!ister itself independently.
