What will we be looking at under a microscope in this lab?

SpecimenWhatever you want to look at under a microscope.

(e.g. hair, blood, cells, insects, etc.)

Preparing Microscope Slides:1. Grab a clean glass slide. 2. Place specimen on middle of slide.3. Put one drop Iodine (Blue Dye) on top of specimen. 4. Cover specimen with a cover slip.

Cover SlipPurpose of a cover slip is to cover the specimen and iodine

so that the objective lens does not get wet.
