for July 17-19, making it his seventh career

NL Player of the Week honor, having won

most recently for June 1-7, 2015

According to Baseball-Reference.com, it was Kershaw’s 11th career game with double-

digit strikeouts and no walks, the most in

win reached in 189 starts), Justin Verlander (191 GS), Tim Hudson (202 GS), Jered Weaver (204 GS), Cliff Lee (209 GS), and Bartolo Colon (212 GS)

Was selected as the NL’s Most Valuable Player in 2014 and has been honored the Cy Young Award three times in his career (2011, 2013 and 2014)…has also won the

Rawlings Golden Glove Award in 2011 and has been selected to the last four All-Star games (2011-2014)…is just the ninth all-time pitcher to win three or more Cy Youngs

straight ERA titles…led the Majors with career-high 21 wins in both 2011 and 2014

Became just the fourth Dodger pitcher to win the NL MVP award, joining Sandy Koufax (1963), Don Newcombe
