BASE RATE PER LIGHT PER YEAR

For dusk to dawn lighting with lights mounted on existing wooden poles with bracket attachments and connected to existing overhead secondary circuits . The Cooperative shall furnish and install wooden pole and secondary extension if required for street lights, within 200 feet of the existing secondary circuits.

For the following monthly charges the Cooperative will furnish, install and maintain the lighting fixtures and accessories including pole, hardware, control, lamps, overhead wiring, etc.; and the energy required .

CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

1. The Cooperative shall furnish, install, operate, and maintain the outdoor lighting equipment including lamp, luminaire, bracket attachment and control device on an existing pole of the Cooperative, electrically connected so that the power for operation of the light does not pass through the meter for :1Jle consumer's other usage, at a location mutually agreeable to both the Cboperative and the consumer. The Cooperative shall furnish and install a wooden pole if required for the outdoor light, within 200 feet of existing secondary circuits.

2. The Cooperative shall maintain the lighting equipment, including lamp replacement, at no additional cost to the consumer within 72 hours after , the consumer notifies the Cooperative of the need for maintenance of the lighting equipment .

3. The lighting equipment shall remain the property of the Cooperative . The consumer shall protect the lighting equipment from deliberate damage .

4. The consumer shall allow authorized representatives of the Cooperative to enter upon the consumer's premises and to trim trees and shrubs as necessary for maintenance of the lighting equipment and for removal of the lighting equipment upon termination of schedule.

5. The Cooperative and the consumer shall execute service under this schedule for a period of not less

MEASUREMENT OF ENERGY AND DETERMINATION OF DEMAND

Energy supplied hereunder will be delivered through not more than one single-phase and/or one polyphase meter. Consumer's demand shall be taken monthly to be the highest registration of a 15 minutes integrating demand meter or indicator, or the highest registration of a thermal t ype demand meter. \ihere energy is delivered through two meters the monthly billing demand and the Kl:'ffi of energy used will be taken as the sum of the two demands and KWH separately determined .

POWER FACTOR ADJUSTMENT

The Consumer agrees to maintain unity power factor as nearly as practicable . The Cooperative reserves a right to measure such power factor at any time . Should such measurements indicate that the power factor at the time of his maximum. demand is lower than 90%, the demand for billing purposes shall be the demand as indicated or recorded by the demand meter increased 1 % for each 1 % by which the average power factor is less than 90% lagging.

MINIMUM MONTHLY CHARGE

The minimum monthly charge under the above rate shall be $3 . 70 where 25 kva 0[) or less transformer capacity is required. For consumers requiring more than 25 kva transformer capacity the minimum monthly charg e shall be increased at the rate of 75¢ for each additional kva or fraction thereof required . Where it is neces sary to extend or reinforce existing distribution facilities, the minimum monthly charge may be increased to assure adequate compensation for the added facilities , Where the minimum charge is increased in accordance with the terms of this section , additional energy and demand shall be included in accordance with the foregoing rate schedule .

POWER FACTOR ADJUSTMENT

The consamer agrees to maint ain unity power factor as nearly as practicable. The measured demand will be adjusted for consumers with 50 KW or more of measured demand to correct for average power factors lower than 90% , and may be so adjus ted for o ther consumers if and when the Cooperative deems necessary. Such adjustments wi ll be made by increasing the measured demand 1% for each l % by which the average power factor is less than 90% lagging .

FUEL CO$T ADJUSTMENT CHARGE

In ca se the r ate under which Cooperative purchases powe r a t wholesal e is adjusted in accordance with a fuel cost adjustment provision in Cooperative's wholesale power contract, the foregoing energy charge shall be adjusted each month by the same amount per kwh as the fuel cost adjustment per kwh in Cooperative's wholesale power bill for the next preceding month.

MINIMUM MONTHLY CHARGE

The minimum monthly charge shall be t~e highest one of the following charges as determined for the consumer in question.

(1) The minimum monthly charge specified in the contract for service . (2) A charge of $0.75 per kva of required transformer capacity. (3) A charge of $50 . 00.

MINIMUM ANNUAL . CHARGE FOR SEASONAL SERVICE

Consumers requiri ng service only during certain seasons not exceeding 9 months per year may guarantee a minimum annual charge, in which case there shall be no minimum monthly charge.
