Student Discipline Rules 2004 (Amendment 2006)
A student who is in violation of the Students' Disciplinary Rules 2004 (amendment 2006) is subject to disciplinary action which includes suspension or expulsion. These includes;
a) Cheating
b) Attempted cheating
c) Bringing in unauthorized materials

may lead to dismissal.

38. IMPLICATIONS OF CHEATING IN EXAMINATION
38.1 Where the Dean of the Kulliyyah is satisfied that any student has committed a breach under the Student Disciplinary Rules pertaining to examination, the Dean shall instruct a committee appointed by the Disciplinary Authority to conduct an inquiry pertaining to the alleged breach.
38.2 If the student is found guilty, the Dean shall make the following order-
(a) For bringing in unauthorised materials – compoundable offence for a sum of RM200.
(b) For attempted cheating – minimum punishment of suspension under SDC and shall receive an ‘F’ grade for the course.
(c) For cheating – expelled from the university; F grade for the course (amendment 2006);
38.3 Report the matter to the Senate for such action.

Student Academic Performance Evaluation Rules (Undergraduate) Regulations 2015
77. MINIMUM STUDY PERIOD 77.1 The minimum number of semesters for any student to complete a degree programme in the University is six (6) regular semesters. 77.2 For a non-regular student, the minimum period is four (4) regular semesters excluding leave of absence. 75.3 For the foundation programme, the minimum number of semesters is two (2) regular semesters.
78. MAXIMUM STUDY PERIOD The maximum number of semesters for a student to complete a degree programme in the University is twelve (12) regular semesters, excluding leave of absence.
