Save time and work more efficiently. With a simplemovement of the dozer lever, the hydraulic angle bladecan be angled to the right or left to push soil to the sideas the machine moves forward, eliminating the need forrepetitive repositioning at right angles when backfillingtrenches.

Load-sensing hydraulic systemYou no longer need to change lever strokes to adjust the amount of oilrequired for varying job loads—control valves automatically regulateand distribute the optimum amount of oil to each cylinder based on theweight of the load, resulting in perfectly matched speed, power, andcylinder timing. Even the slightest operator movements produce smoothand simultaneous operation of the boom, arm, bucket and house.

Auxiliary hydraulicsAuxiliary hydraulic hoses are routed to the arm to accommodate avariety of attachments such as breakers and augers. The auxiliaryhydraulic connections are located on the arm within easy reach andincorporate short hoses that are less likely to become tangled ordamaged. The system includes bidirectional auxiliary hydrauliccontrols, as well as a control valve.

SafetySafety is designed into every detail of the KX121-3S. An EngineStart Lockout System prevents the engine from starting whenthe safety levers are lowered. A Safety Lever Lockout Systemhelps prevent unexpected excavator and attachment movementwhen entering or exiting the machine. An Auto House ParkingBrake automatically locks the house in the position it was inwhen the engine was shut off, eliminating the need for a swinglock pin. It also makes the excavator more compact duringtransport and more secure when parked on an incline.

AccumulatorThe accumulator makes replacing attachments safer and moreefficient. Turning the key to the “on” position clears residualpressure in the auxiliaryhydraulic hose. If theengine is accidentallyshut off while the frontattachment is raised,turning the key to the“on” position allows youto safely lower it.
