GROUP EXERCISE FEE
DAY PASS A Day Pass allows entry for the entire day to the following venues: Gymnasium, Fitness Center, Public Swimming, Recreation Field, Gameroom, Library & Computer Lab, and a single session of Rock Climbing, and Skateboarding. (Group Exercise Classes are an additional Fee).

FITNESS CENTER ETIQUETTE THE FOLLOWING POLICIES ARE IN PLACE TO KEEP ALL OF OUR MEMBERS AND GUESTS SAFE.
Access to the Fitness Center is restricted to guests
16 years of age or older (ID required), unless
enrolled in a Fitness Center class
Teen members ages 14 & 15 may access the fitness
center after completing a 1-hour teen fitness
orientation. Available the first and third Tuesday of
each month.
Members and guests are asked to carry
identification and membership cards or day passes
at all times. All guests must have a signed facility
waiver on file.
Towels are required for every person working out in
the Fitness Center. Towels may be purchased at the
gymnasium guest service desk for $4 (subject to availability).
There is a 20-minute maximum usage time per
machine during peak use periods.
Classes are subject to cancellation due to low
enrollment.
Appropriate exercise attire required (workout
clothing and closed-toe athletic shoes). No jeans
please.
Family Fun Nights at the Kroc Center - Free Fitness Fun for the whole
family. Come join in a fun fitness evening focusing on different health

Taught from seated and standing positions. Participants learn a variety of safe and effective options designed to increase flexibility and balance and improve well-being.
SILVER SNEAKERS CARDIO +
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball are alternated with low-impact aerobic choreography.

Group Cycling with a mellow approach. Paced for beginners, yet challenging enough for the intermediate and advanced rider.

KARATE Ages 5+The Kroc Center offers Karate in the Traditional style Cuong Nhu Oriental Martial Arts. Led by Sensei Russ Eggleston and Victoria Johnson, Cuong Nhu is a martial art that blends the basic elements of a number of different styles. Cuong Nhu students explore not just technical, but also mental and spiritual aspects of training.

Classes are 50 minutes in length, unless otherwise noted. Classes are offered on a first-come, basis only. To reduce the risk of injury and prevent class disruptions, no admittance will be allowed ten minutes after the class is scheduled to begin.

ARTHRITIS FOUNDATION AQUATIC EXERCISEClasses include a series of pool activities led by certified Arthritis Foundation instructors. Participants are guided through a selection of 85 movements designed by exercise specialists, geared to reduce the pain and stiffness associated with arthritis. With the aid of water’s buoyancy and resistance, participants improve flexibility, strength and range of motion. Swimming skills are not required.Location: Therapy Pool

TIPS FOR SAFE & HEALTHY SWIMMING•All swimmers using the Competition pool and diving boards must pass a 25-meter swim test. See Lifeguard to arrange test.
•Lap swimming is for children ages 12 and over and adults.
•Children 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult in the water.
•All children age 3 and under are required to wear swim diapers and plastic pants.
•Kroc approved life jackets available for check out at the lifeguard office. Photo I.D.or membership card required. •During periods of peak usage, pools may be closed for short periods to conduct required maintenance.
•Please shower before swimming. Healthy pools are a shared responsibility!
•Persons having currently active diarrhea or who have had active diarrhea within the previous 14 days shall not be allowed in the pool water.

TODDLER SPLASH TUESDAYS Bring your favorite floaties, toys & toddlers on Tuesdays for a splash of a time in our heated outdoor pool.

DR. PETE ANDERSON PRE-AQUA AVENGERS
Pete has over 50 years’ experience teaching all ages to swim. He is a Masters Swimming World Record holder, 16-time Senior Olympics Gold Medalist & the author of “Teach Yourself to Swim Like a Pro- In One Minute Steps.” Dr. Andersen has volunteered his time at the Kroc Center to share his passion for life-long swimming.
MARION SEELEYAQUA AVENGERS
Marion has 10 years of competitive swimming experience. She has coached everything from recreational swimmers to high school & private club teams & tri-athletes. Marion is currently certified with USA Swimming. She is extremely passionate about helping swimmers of all ability levels achieve their goals in the water.

CLASS/ PROGRAM CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
No cash or credit card refunds will be issued unless
the class or program is cancelled by the Kroc Center.
A Kroc Gift card will be issued for all approved cancellation
requests & may be obtained from Guest Services.
Kroc Center Gift Cards are redeemable at all venues,
good as cash. Gift Cards are not linked to a customer
account; customer must have the actual card in order
to redeem for a purchase. Please treat the card as cash
as lost cards are not replaced. Cancellation requests
must be submitted within 90 days following date of
purchase. A $10 administrative fee is assessed for all
requests submitted after the start of the class/program.
Gift Cards will be pro-rated to reflect any sessions
attended by student (ie: if cancellation is submitted
after the student attended 2 of the 6 class meetings).
LOST & FOUND POLICY
All items left in the Kroc Center will be collected & stored
behind the Guest Services Desk in the venue in which
they were found. Smaller items are kept in a box for safe
keeping. Staff will attempt to contact individuals in the
case that a name is associated with the lost item. Each
Sunday, all items remaining will be bagged with a label
noting the week, stored for an additional week, then
donated. In consideration of conservation & serving
member needs, toiletries (shampoo, conditioner) are held
to loan out & towels in good condition are washed & held
to loan out or used for cleaning.
LOCKER USAGE
Lockers are for day use only. Members & guests may
bring their own lock each day and take their belongings
home after exercising. Rental lockers are available at
an $8 monthly rate. Items left in day use lockers will be
removed & stored, with the locker number noted, in a
similar fashion as lost & found items. For rental lockers
with expired rental plans the renter will be contacted with
number on file and the locker tagged with a reminder
notice to have belongings removed by a specified date.
After this date the items will be bagged, labeled & stored
for one month prior to donating.
ADULT SUPERVISION
Children ages 10 & under must be accompanied by an
adult (18 years and older) during all activities. Children
ages 6 & over must use gender appropriate locker rooms.
Parents that wish to stay with a young child of the
opposite gender may use the Family Changing Room.

The Fitness Area is reserved for those ages 16 and older,
unless participating in a Kroc Center program or class.
PETS
With the exception of service animals, pets of any kind are
not allowed in any Kroc Center venue.

SKATE PARK AGES 6+
Our indoor Skatepark contains elements that challenge both the beginner and advanced skateboarder. For maximum safety, kneepads, elbow pads and a helmet are required for all skaters 17 years old and under. Helmets are required for skaters 18 years and up.
ROCKWALL CHILDREN 40 POUNDS AND OVER
The Salvation Army Kroc Center’s Rockwall is tucked away on the recreation field walkway and has six tracks of varying difficulty.
