1.Summarize

1.1 Introduce

This LCD English white back-light large-screen GSM &PSTN wireless burglar alarm system is used leadingmicroprocessor technology,high sensitivity superheterodyne receiver module, advanced GSM digital signalprocessing technology, combination with the traditional telecommunication network technology. It have many

function as Digital voice, short message in English, learning to wireless code, remote control wireless homeappliance, message recognition, etc.

It connect with wireless infrared detector, door sensor, smoke detectors, gas detectors, emergency buttonand other accessories. When the detector is trigger,the alarm system will notify the user by call and SMSmessage, and at the same time upload alarm information to alarm center.It is a choice of stability, reliability,security, and user friendliness security product. Features are very practical, cost-effective, completedconfiguration and ease of use. It has been widely used in homes, factories, schools, shops, conveniencestores, financial and banking workplace, community center and residential area to provide protection tovaluable assets.

Large LCD English white back-light display, voice prompt, the voice volume is adjustable, full of referenceinformation.

Support dual-network of both PSTN landline and GSM mobile network, provide redundancy for extrastability

The host can be used as an normal mobile phones

Built-in siren, 8 level volume is adjustable, can be connect with an external siren

Compatible with the international alarm networking protocol CONTACT ID.

Allow up to 16 wireless defense zones and 2 wired zones,each wireless zones can be defined as one of the8 zone types,wired zones can be choose the NC or NO alarm

Four sets of scheduled arm/disarmed function, each timed arm/disarm you can select the period of timeand different defense zone

2.Alarm System Operation

2.1 Arm

The system is at a fully ready status where all detectors are activated in a working state, when the someevents ( burglar, fire, gas leak, etc ) happened and detected, alarm system alarm right away. In ARM status,

the panel lcd screen is on,

To activate using remote control: press key once.

To activate using keyboard: on panel keyboard keys once.

2.2 Stay Alarm

This is for partial arming of the alarm system when there are people at home, only some of the selectedsensors are activated and could be triggered by events.

In a STAY ARM status,the panel lcd screen is on,

To activate using remote control: press S key once.


2.3 Disarm

All sensors are deactivated and will not be respond to any events.(expect the detector in Emergency zones

and the Panic button in the remote control In a DISARM status, the panel is on.

To activate using remote control: press key once.


2.4 Emergency

When an emergency occurs, press button on the remote or the button on panel to activate

alarm.

Remark:

If password on keyboard is enabled, you need to enter password before other operations, the initialpassword is 1234.

2.5 Alarm System Setup

Alarm panel should be installed at a central location with best transmission to all the wireless sensors andaccessories. Keep the panel well away from large metal objects or household appliances with high-frequencyinterference, and avoid barriers such as concrete walls with metal frame inside and fire doors.

2.6 SIM card installation

SIM card installation is simple. Firstly remove the cover of SIM card slot at the back of the alarm panel andthen place the card according to direction indicated. Make sure the cover of SIM card slot is fixed suitably.

2.8 After receiving the Panel Alert

After Panel alerts, it will automatically dial the preset telephone number for three times until connected. Whenthe user picks up the phone, a piece of pre-recorded voice message will be played back immediately and letthe receiver noted about the event. Upon receiving the call, it can also control the alarm panel remotely viathe phone (according to the command below). User will not be asked for password upon connected andalarm will automatically hang up call within receiving any instruction within 20 seconds.

Remark:If not hang up using [*] key or disarm using [2] key, the system will retry to call the next phone numbers on listuntil one connected.

Panel will not ask for password when dialing out upon alarming.

2.9 Remote Dialing In Operation:

Remote-control operations can be done via any phone. You can just dial into the alarm panel and user will beasked for password upon connected and alarm will automatically hang up call within receiving any instructionwithin 20 seconds or password is incorrect three times. (original password 1234 )

3 system settings

3.1Alarm Panel Initial Setup

Load the SIM Card, connect telephone line, fix the GSM Antenna, connect the power and other cables if any,

then power up alarm panel. The alarm panel voice prompt "Welcome to use alarm system", and icon is

display on LCD means searched GSM signals. icon is display on LCD too ,means GSM signals andSIM card are normal. LCD show "Phone line" indicates the external telephone line connection is good.

icon is on means the external telephone line is well connected

Upon everything working properly, the battery switch should be at the [ON] position for continuous charging.

3.2 Pre-record Voice Message

Alarm panel will play a pre-recorded voice message after the alarm call when a pre-set phone number uponalarm. To record customized message:

Press "# "Key to enter the configuration mode:

Then press 19# speak your message at the panel for recording

System will record 10 Seconds and then automatically exit; or press any key to end whenever your messageend.

Press *, then # exit setup status.

3.3 Add Remote Control:

Press "#" key to enter the configuration mode:

Syntax: 07+(00~99)+# to configure remote control

Example: 07 then press 01# , to configure the 1st group remote control. then press any key of the remotecontrol to send a signal to the alarm panel, panel beep twice means successful, beep only once means theremote control has been configured before. Alarm panel can configure up to 150 remote control of different

addressing. Upon completion press # to exit the configuration mode, press * and then # exit the configurationmode.

Remark: 01-99 means the group number of remote control ,one group can have one or more remotecontrol,Max can add 150pcs remote control to the alarm panel.

3.4 Delete the remote control:


Syntax 1: 08+(00~99)+# to delete the remote control

Syntax 2: 08+**+# to delete all remote controls

Example: 08 then press 01# for deleting 1st remote control, then if you want to delete 8th remote control,press 08 instead of 01. Press # to exit the delete remote control, press * and then # to exit configurationmode.

3.5 Add detector


Syntax: 09+(01~16)+# to add the detector

Example: 09 then press 01# , to configure 1st sensor, then trigger the detector to send a signal to the alarmpanel. panel beep twice means successful, beep only once means the remote control has been configuredbefore. Alarm panel can configure up to 150 sensors of different addressing. Upon completion press # to exit

the configuration mode, press * and then # exit the configuration mode.

Remark : 01-16 means the defence zone number

3.6 Delete detector


Syntax 1: 10+(01~16)+# to delete the detector

Syntax 1: 10+**+# to delete all detectors

Example: 10 then 01#, to deleting sensor of 1st. If you want to delete the detectors of 6th, use 06 instead of 01. Upon completion press # to exit the configuration mode, press * and then # exit the configuration mode.

3.7 Commands for Configuration

This system supports three methods of configuration including the local keyboard, telephone set and SMSmessaging. Following are examples how instructions are given via one of the three methods of setting

Example: you want to change the first phone number for voice calling to 13899998888:

Method 1: At the KeyboardPress # to enter the configuration mode, and then press 3113899998888#, press the * then press # to exitconfiguration mode.

Method 2: By telephone set

Calling into the alarm panel, upon connected, alarm panel will ask for password, it is 1234 as the default,then press #, and then press 3113899998888# , press the * then press # to exit configuration mode.

Method 3: Using SMS

On your mobile phone, compose a SMS message as 12343113899998888# and send to your alarm panel.

Below is a table of all commands supported.

3.7.1 Set up voice alarmphone numbe r

To set the 1st group to the 6th group of voice alarm phone number 1-6

indicates that the first group to the Sixth group alarm number correspondingly.

Example: If the user wants to set 13812345678 for the first set of voicealarm phone number

Method one:

After you press the # key to enter the configuration mode, press the

3113812345678#, press * Then press # To exit Setup.Method two:

Remote calling into the alarm panel put in password (initial password:1234 ) when being asked, then press the # key, hear the voice prompt andthen press 3113812345678#, press * then press # to exit the remotesetting status.

Method three:

Send SMS messages 12343113812345678# to a alarm panel (which at thebeginning of 1234 is the user password), the alarm panel will reply with

SMS message "Group 1 phone number: 13812345678 to confirm the 1stgroup alarm phone number is set to13812345678 successfully.

For users using the telephone line extension, you should dial a number

(such as "9") to pick up a dialing tone, then with your command you shouldadd to this number a " * ". So the completed command becomes9*13812345678#

3.7.2 Delete voice alarmphone number

Used to delete the first groups to the Sixth group alert phone numbers

Example: If you want to delete the first set of telephone alarm number,

Method one: After you press the # key to enter the configuration mode, press the 31#,then press * then press # to exit Setup.

Method two:

After entering the telephone remote setting status, press 31#.

Method three:

Send SMS message 123431# On the alarm panel, alarm panel reply "Group 1 phone number: to confirm the 1st group alarm phone number hasbeen removed.

Syntax:

3 + 1-6 + #

3.7.3 Set phone number toreceive SMS message

To set the first group to the sixth group of phone number for SMS message.When alarm panel is alert, it sends a SMS message to the six sets of numbers one by one.

Example: If the user wants to set 13812345678 SMS for the first group of SMS message

Method one:

After press the # key to enter the configuration mode, press the4113812345678# , then press * then press # Exit Setup

Method two:

After calling and connected to the panel from remote, press4113812345678#

Method three:

Send SMS message 12344113812345678# to the panel.

Syntax:

3.7.4 Delete SMS phonenumber

Used to delete the first group to SMS of the Sixth group police number

Example: If you want to delete the first set of SMS message phone number,

Method one:

After you press the # key to enter the configuration mode, press the 41# ,

then press * then press # Exit Setup

Method two:

After calling and connected to the panel from remote, press41#

Method three:

Send SMS message123441#

Syntax:

3.7.5 Passwordmodification

Used to modify the user password, the default user password is 1234

Example: If you want to set up a new user password 4321

Method one:

Press # key to enter the configuration mode, press the 504321#, press the* then press # to exit setup.

Method two:

3.7.6 Set delay for systemarm

Upon armed from the remote control or alarm panel, the alarm panel is setto delay 0 255 before at the ready status of ARM. The system default is

000 seconds.Example: users need to set the delay time for 60 Seconds.

Method one:

Press # key to enter the configuration mode, press the 5160#, then press *then press # to exit setup.

Method two:

After calling and connected to the panel from remote, press 5160#

Method three: Send SMS messages12345160#

Notice: Set delay for system arm is in the 1-16zones.this only used when

the zones change to Set delay for system arm zones, please check the(3.7.14) about the zones divided. Example, need change the 3 zones tothe delay alarm zone, set the delay time for 20 Seconds. Press # enter intosetting, press the 51020#, then press 600321#. Press the * then press # toexit setup.

Syntax:

3.7.7 Set the time of delayfor alarming

Set the time of delay upon alarm, it can be set to 0-255 seconds; thesystem default is 000 seconds.

Example: the user needs to set the alarm delay time to 60 Seconds.

Method one:

Press # Key to enter the configuration mode, press the 5260#, and press *then press # to exit setup.

Method two:

After calling and connected to the panel from remote, press 5260#.

Method three:


Notice: Set delay for system arm is in the 1-16zones.this only used whenthe zones change to Set delay for system arm zones, please check the

(3.7.14) about the zones partition. Example, want to change the 3 zones tothe delay alarm zone, set the delay time for 20 Seconds. Press # enter intosetting, press the 51020#, then press 600321#. Press the * then press # toexit setup.

3.7.8 Set length of Sirensound

Set alarm length of sounding when panel alarm, could be set to 0-2default is 1 minute.Example: you want to make a siren sound 5 Minutes.Method one:# Key to enter the configuration mode, press the 5305#,* Then press # To exit Setup.Method two : After calling and connected to the panel from remote, press 5305#.Method three:

3.7.9 Set the scope of control of alarm panel andremote control

Set which defense zone will be controlled by remote control and fromalarm panel keyboard. Factory default is all remote control andkeyboard can control all 01-16 zones.Remark:The 1 st remote control represented by number 01, ** represents the alarmpanel keyboard.Example: you want to set 01 remote control to control only 00-10 zone.Method one:# Key to enter the configuration mode, press 540111160#, and press * thenpress # to exit setup.

Notice: 540111160# means close the 11-16zones that controlled bythe remote 1.as the remote 1 default 01-16 zones ,if let the 11-16 zones

out off control, it can realize remote 1 only control the 1-10 zones.Method two:

after calling and connected to the panel from remote, press 540111160#Method three:

Send SMS message 1234540111160# Above is for continuous zones independent arm/disarm Function. To thediscontinuous zones to achieve remote control zones arm/disarm, thenaccording to the steps 2.Example: After set the remote 1 controlled the 1-10zones arm/disarm, butrequired 3zone and 7zone out of the remote 01 controlled .This time can

close 01 remote for the 3zone and 7zone.Method one:# Key to enter the configuration mode, press 5401030#.then press5401070#.* Then press # To exit Setup.

Method two: after calling and connected to the panel from remote, press5401030#, then press 5401070#.Method three: Send SMS message 12345401030# and 12345401070#.Notice: Reasonable use this remote control command can flexible to setthe remote control for the defense zones,Example: need the remote 1 to control the 1zones, press 540102160#,direct this command is ok. Also can press 540101160#, close all the zonesunder the remote 1 control, then press 5401011# to open the remote 1 tocontrol the zone 1.Example, need the remote 1 to control the 3zone and 8zone,press540101160# to close the 1-16 zones, then press 5401031#,5401081# toopen remote 1 to control the 3 and 8 defense zones. The command flexiblecollocation can set to the corresponding functions.

3.12 Definitions of Zones

The alarm supports 16 distinguishable defense zones and they can be classified into one of the 8 Zone

Types with their respective characteristics.

1 NORMAL DefenseZone

the Panel only works on the arming status. When disarming, there is noresponse.

2 STAY Defense zone(AT-HOME Defensezone)

can be shut off solely through the remote control (keyboard) to avoidthe Infrared Detectors and other in-room detectors from misinformationwhen master is resting at home.

3 INTELLIGENT

Defense zone:

if the detector in the Defense zone is triggered only once, it will not

immediately alarm. But if being triggered once again within 30 secondsafter the first triggering, it will alarm immediately.

4 EMERGENCYDefense zone:

no matter on arming or disarming status, if detector is triggered it willalert. Usually used in connecting with Smoke Detectors, Gas Detectorsand emergency button, etc.

5 CLOSED Defensezone:

no matter arming or disarming status, detectors will not alert evenbeing triggered.

6 CHIME Zone No matter in what status, when sensor with this zone is triggered, awelcome door bell will be ring as notification.

7 WELCOME Zone Only work on the arming status, when sensor with this zone istriggered, a welcome voice message will be played.

8 HELP SENIORDefense Zone

This type of zone is for elderly safety, no matter in what status, thepanel will alarm once sensor with this zone type is triggered.

4. Guideline of Installation Sensors and Troubleshooting

4. 1 Guideline for Installing Door or Window Sensor

1. The surface for door sensor installation should be clean so door sensor can be attached to the door andframe firmly with double faced adhesive.

2. Each door sensor is a pair of sensor and magnet. The sensor (A as in diagram) should be installed on thefixed door frame and the magnet (B as in diagram) should be placed on the movable door with a distance

not exceeding 1 cm.3. Upon installed, door sensor should be tested by open the door and check if the indicator on door sensor

flashes for 1 second.4. In case the door sensor is running out of battery, the indicator should be kept lit as a low-voltage

notification.

4.2 Guideline for Installing PIR Motion Sensor

1. Before use, make sure the power switch of PIR motion sensors is at the ON position.2. Installation height is about 2.2 meters above ground and the optimized detection angle for most motion

sensor is 90 degree. The sensor should face the detected area with this consideration for best coverage.

It is advised to install with the face of motion sensor perpendicular to the most probable moving detectionof people for the highest effective detection.

3. Within coverage of detection, there should be no any objects for obstruction.4. There should be no two infrared detectors in the same as they will possibly intervene with each other.5. Avoid the detector facing window, cooling or warming machines, or other appliances that cause the

temperature changing sharply and thus cause false alarm.6. Most infra-red detector needs about 5 minutes to heat up before READY for normal operation.7. Regular PIR motion sensor is for indoor use unless the specification stated otherwise.

Unless specifies otherwise, most infra-red detector are indoor use and not reliable to use outdoor.
