2015-2016 SCHOOL REPORT CARD Kotzebue Middle/High School 2015-2016 School Report Card Data Kotzebue Middle/High School serves a diverse population of 330 students in grades 6-12 in Kotzebue. Elective courses are offered to help improve student motivation and achievement. Students can take Art Humanities I & II; PE; Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Spanish; Choral Music; and Field Biology I and II. Career Technology Education classes offered include: Wood Tech I & II; Power Tech I & II; Drafting I & II; Subsistence Shop; Cooperative Vocational Education; Business Software I & II; Video Production; Desktop Publishing; Small Business Enterprise; Employability Skills; Technology; Welding; Hunting, Trapping, and Survival; and Teaching as a Career. KMHS offers both academic and non-academic after-school activities to involve students in the school community, to increase student motivation and improve learning. Activities include MS Cross Country, Volleyball, Wrestling, Basketball, Weight Room, Cross Country, Volleyball, Wrestling, Cheerleading, Science Fair, Student Council, NYO, National Honor Society, Pep Band, National Geography Bee, Yearbook and Spelling Bee. Kotzebue Middle/High School serves a diverse population of 330 students in grades 6-12 in Kotzebue. Elective courses are offered to help improve student motivation and achievement.
