The main protagonists of the Hungarian artist characterize male persons with elongated limbs and bent postures, whose gestural movements remind of moments of falling. The different personalities, marked by contemporary and pop-cultural clothing, as well as the pastel colour palette used, offer a humorous approach to Ezer's pictorial world without trivialising it. Ákos Ezer invites the viewer to reconstruct his view of current social structures in his home country Hungary and the per-sonal efforts of everyday life associated with them.
Ákos Ezer born 1989, lives and works in Budapest, Hungary. He graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, 2014.
The exhibition starts on Thursday, the 4th of June 2020, at Galerie Droste, 18 rue Dussoubs, 75002 Paris in France.

Die Hauptprotagonisten des ungarischen Künstlers charakterisieren männliche Personen mit langgezogenen Gliedmaßen und geknickten Körperhal-tungen, die in ihrer gestischen Bewegung an Momente des Sturzes erinnern. Die unterschiedlichen Persönlichkeiten, markiert durch popkulturelle Kleidung, sowie die verwendete pastel-lige Farbpalette, bieten einen humorvollen Zugang zu Ezers Bildwelt, ohne diese zu banalisieren. Der Künst-ler lädt den Betrachter ein, seinen Blick auf aktuelle, gesellschaftliche Strukturen in seinem Heimatland Ungarn nachzuvollziehen.
Ákos Ezer, geboren 1989, lebt und arbeitet in Budapest, Ungarn. Er graduierte an der Ungarischen Universität der Schönen Künste, 2014.
Die Ausstellung beginnt am Donnerstag, dem 4. Juni 2020, in der Galerie Droste, 18 rue Dussoubs, 75002 Paris in Frankreich.
