Eligibility

Applicants with sufficient Korean proficiency meeting one of the following conditions:

A. An applicant holding foreign citizenship whose parents are foreign (not Korean) citizens

B. An applicant who completed the entire 16-year education from elementary school to university in a foreign country (not Korea).

Requirements

Additional Required Documents for Chinese Applicants should be checked other than below.

A. Admission application form

B. Recommendation letter from professors from one’s previous (last) institution (No specific forms needed.)

C. Certificate of Bachelor’s degree (or certificate of expected graduation) and official transcript including all transcripts from previous institutions before the transfer (Applicants for Master’s programs, Ph.D. Program and Integrated Master & Ph.D. degree Programs)

D. Certificate of Master’s degree (or certificate of expected graduation) and official transcript (Applicants for doctoral programs ONLY)

- Apostille degree certificates(or consul verified degree certificates) should be additionally submitted within the

two weeks of an admission decision by express mail. If applicants already submit apostille degree certificates(or

consular verified degree certificates) when they apply, the applicants do not need to submit it again.

G. TOEFL, IELTS, TEPS or TOPIK (one of them)

H. Financial resources statement

1) Bank statement (a minimum of USD 20,000(Seoul Campus) / USD 18,000(Sejong Campus)or

equivalent in currency of applicants’ country) issued within 3 months

2) Financial support form from your tutor professor at Korea University Graduate School (with the tutor

professor’s certificate of employment): If you don’t have the bank statement with a minimum balance, it

can be substituted with the financial support form from your tutor professor.

A. Both the applicant and applicant's parent(s) must be non-Korean citizenB.The applicant must have completed regular primary and secondary education, equivalent to Grade 1 to 12 in Korean education system, either in Korea or overseas, and graduate before February for spring semester/ August for the fall semester.

Language Proficiency

▶ One or more of the following documents:A. Korean: A score report of TOPIK or certificate of completion from Korean

Language Center at Korea UniversityB. English: A score report of TOEFL iBT or IELTS (academic)C. Native speakers of Korean or English speakers may submit high school

transcripts as a proof of the primary language of instruction at school.* Depending on their major, students with high English language proficiency

will receive an exemption from the Intensive Korean Language Training and there will be no restriction in taking major courses.
