The Local Fee Schedule will be applicable for: Students whose financial provider is a citizen of India, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lanka and is employed in the respective country earning in local currency. • The financial provider is defined as the parent or legal guardian. Refundable when students leave KIS, subject to school regulaons regarding penalty (non-return of textbooks, music instruments, KIS properes) and the adjustment of dues, if any. No interest will be paid on this deposit. KIS cannot hold places for students who have not paid security deposits or do not meet payment deadlines. Security deposits will be retained by KIS for six weeks aſter student departure to clear all accounts. Security deposits may not be used against final payment of fees or accounts. Development Fee For new students accepted and enrolled, KIS Development Fee shall be payable prior to or at the me of enrollment. Alumni Services Fee An Alumni Services Fee will be charged on admission to cover alumni annual publicaons and postage, access to alumni directory and related expenses. Includes: Tuion - Covers course fees and use of texts, library books, computers, science laboratory equipment and certain classroom supplies. Boarding - Dormitory accommodaon. Food Services - All meals, morning coffee and aſternoon tea. Acvies - Admission to “All School” programs. Student Government - Class funds and Student Council for Grades 7-12. Advisor Events - Advisors hosng meals for advisees. Music Tuion Policy - All students are provided with instrucon in one musical instrument of their choice free of charge. Facilies and Amenies - The use and maintenance of all KIS buildings, equipment, etc. Fees for Semester 1 (July) and Semester 2 (January) are payable by the final day of the previous semester. A penalty calculated at the rate of 12% per annum will be charged from the due date to the date of payment on the outstanding balance if the payment is not made by the due date. Students with accounts in arrears at the end of KIS academic year and who have not paid their fees for the next academic year or semester will not be allowed to return to KIS the following academic year or semester unl accounts have been seled. These will be charged extra and are not included in KIS Annual Fee: Where more expensive classroom supplies are provided, costs may be charged. Presently these classes include Art, Home Economics, Industrial Arts and Photography. Field Trips are part of KIS academic program and are planned as an integral part of the curriculum. Students are expected to parcipate in field trips for which parents will be charged. Parents will be charged for repairs or replacements to school property or other equipment and lost textbooks by students found to be responsible. Personal supplies, laundry (dhobi) costs, pocket money, vouchers for purchasing items, Gymkhana (snack bar), long weekend allowance, travel allowance and for cash purchases. Penalty New students - Aſter the acceptance of admission, even if the student does not actually take his/her place in the school, a penalty of 50% of the security deposit will be levied.
