VAT INFORMATIONMany of you will have recently heard the Government announcement regarding VAT and to come into accordance with this,Kleeneze has adjusted its VAT rate to 15% effective from 1 December 2008.

All catalogue prices remain fixed until the next catalogue change (Friday 5 December), which will reflect the new pricing structure.Kleeneze, like many suppliers who import, has come under increasing pressure in recent months as the value of the pound againstboth the dollar and Euro has weakened and inflationary costs have significantly increased the cost of all our products. This hasresulted in our costs rising considerably (approx 20%) on all imported goods in the last six months.

Our intention had been to reflect the rising costs with an across the board price increase, however, with the reduction in VAT wehave been able to reduce these price increases to a much smaller proportion of items and so only approx 150 prices will increase inthe next catalogue editions. Wherever possible we fight hard to prevent passing on these increases to our loyal Distributor andCustomer base. However with such large increases to our cost base this is impossible.

For Kleeneze distributors this means prices in the catalogues holding at around current rates, despite the large increase in costs weare currently experiencing.

As you will be aware we are already offering massive discounts of up to 50% on a number of lines to drive sales and offersubstantial savings to our and your customers.

We will continue to monitor the impact of this change on the business and keep you fully informed of any further changes as andwhen they arise.
