The Hahnenkammbahn cable car takes you to the Fleckalm Trail – only limited accessibility in summer 2019!

NEW: HAHNENKAMM TRAILUp by cable car - down by bike

It’s not only in winter that the Hahnenkamm has its sporting attractions. In summer 2019, the family-friendly Hahnenkamm Trail will be open, taking you from the mountain into the town. Over 7 km in length and with 900 m of descent, plenty of fun is guaranteed.

ALPINE FLOWER GARDENThe flowering periods of different alpine plants from all over the world rotate from May to October. Daily guided tour with botanical explanations at 11 a.m. in July and August.

KARST HIKING TRAIL Explore the earth’s history on a unique hiking trail with cavernous structures in the form of impressive ponors – created more than 450 million years ago.

HORN-GIPFEL HIGH-ALTITUDE TRAILA charming but challenging route round the Kitzbüheler Horn – along mountain paths, across Alpine meadows, on a path se-cured with steel cables to the Harschbichl on the St. Johann side.

KNEIPP PARADISE BICHLALMTreat yourself to a refreshing dip in the lovely Kneipp pool and enjoy this beautiful piece of nature in the heart of the Südberge mountains.

PANORAMA AND ALPINE PASTURE CIRCUIT ON THE GAISBERGAfter a nice and easy ascent on the Gaisberg chairlift, you come to the starting point of the wonderful “Goasberg Joch” Alpine Pasture Circuit with its panoramic views and you can set off on a leisurely hike to the mountain huts.

RESTERKOGEL – PANORAMAALM Magnificent high-altitude hiking & mountain bike trails from the Panoramabahn’s mountain station, past the beautifully located Resterkogelsee lake and on to Panoramaalm. Enjoy the impressive scenery of the Hohe Tauern mountain range!

1124 FOUR LAKES HIKING TRAIL TO THE PENGELSTEIN HIKING TIME: approx. 4 hours

A delightful high-altitude hike – past crystal clear mountain lakes and across a rolling mountain landscape. Follow the route from the Hahnenkammbahn cable car mountain station on path no. 22 or 23 for hikers and mountain bikers.

STREIF RACE TRACK HIKING TIME: approx. 2 hours (downhill)

Hike and marvel at the most difficult downhill racecourse in the world! 4 state-of-the-art infotainment LCD portals – at the Start- haus (start house), the Mausefalle (mousetrap), Steilhang (steep slope) entrance and on the Hausbergkante – impressively convey the awesome challenge of the "Streif”.

“STREIF” START HOUSE – WALKHIKING TIME: approx. 20 minutes

Tour with disabled access from Hochkitzbühel via the start house through the Märchenwald (Fairytale Woods) and back. Guided Start- haus (start house) walk as part of the KitzMountain Guide programme.

PANORAMA CIRCULAR TRAILHIKING TIME: approx. 1–1.5 hours

Discover a world of magnificent views along the Panorama Circular Trail on the famous Hahnenkamm, with lots of fantastic novelties for children who love action and adventure! The “Streif Summer Experience” course is expected to be completed in July 2019!
