Cultural Resource Interpretation: A historic resource inventory will be developed for the facility. Once the inventory is completed, the historic resources identified will be interpreted and protected to preserve the history of the park and region. It is recommended that a nomination be prepared for the former University Settlement Camp as it is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. Arden Point: A new informational kiosk will be placed near the trailhead at Arden Point and the area will be cleared out to better define the entrance to the trail. North Redoubt: The plan recommends that lands adjacent to the trail head be acquired. This will improve access to the trails and will provide an established parking area that is away from the road.
