A:
Functional Activation Program (FAP)A pre-vocational program (duration of time is individualized) for physical, psychiatric and chronic disability management, designed to prepare inactive individuals to make a successful transition back into the workplace.
Ergonomic Assessment and InterventionThrough onsite ergonomic assessments, existing risk factors are proactively identified and injuries are prevented in the workplace. KinActivation can help to reduce physical discomfort & strain, repetitive task injuries and improve workplace efficiency through ongoing on site intervention and support.
Return to Work InterventionsKinActivation’s program facilitates safe and timely re-entry back into the workplace early in the recovery process. This is achieved through Comprehensive Return to Work Programs, Accommodation Assessment, Work Site Assessment, Ergonomic Assessment, Work Hardening Program, Job Coaching, Vocational Assessments and Job Search Training Sessions.
A Functional Capacity Evaluation can be performed at any stage in the process.
( An intensive day-long evaluation that focuses on major physical tolerance abilities related to musculoskeletal strength, endurance, speed and flexibility.)
The battery of standardized tests include key factors such as diagnosis, impairment, pain and functional limitation, referral questions, and, in some instances, the case resolution goal.
A Vocational Evaluation can be performed when the individual is unable to return to their own occupation.
TRANSFERRABLE SKILLS ANALYSIS assists in identifying specific direct entry career options that are suitable based on the individual’s minimum adjusted occupational profile
VOCATIONAL ASSESSMENT is utilized, in addition to the transferrable skills analysis, to determine if the individual has additional skill sets and if they are suitable candidates for retraining.
