Rationale for chosen pathway - existing examples/client need.

• I chose the fine art pathway because I want to learn skills in painting, drawing, printmaking and sculpture. Fine art is a very wide field, encompassing many forms — traditional, abstract, conceptual, figurative, non-figurative, representational, non- representational and expressive and I want to use these within my work. I want to study the works of fine artists and use this to inspire my work explore the use of visual communication language to describe the formal elements and creative skills that give visual form to your own thoughts, ideas and concepts, and those observed in the work of other artists and designers. I want top work with a variety of traditional and non-traditional media and materials and specialist fine art processes and techniques.
