SHOWING LOVE TOWARDS YOUR PARENTS

1. Islam teaches Muslims to obey, respect and be good to their parents.

2. Parents are willing to sacrifice their selves, their wealth and their lives for their own children.

3. Children should realize that whatever they earn in the present day during their entire lives comes from their parents’ sacrifices.

17:24 And spread over them humbly the wings of thy tenderness, and say: "O my Sustainer! Bestow Thy grace upon them, even as they cherished and reared me when I was a child!”


4. Grab the chance to meet your parents, look after, kissing and hugging them during their lifetime because they need the company of their children more than anything else.

• 31:14 “And [God says:] ‘We have enjoined upon man goodness towards his parents: his mother bore him by bearing strain upon strain, and his utter dependence on her lasted two years: [hence, O man,] be grateful towards Me and towards thy parents, [and remember that] with Me is all journeys’ end.


5. It is a sinful act to hurt parents’ heart even with a single word such as “uuh” and “aah” and it is more sinful to insult, abuse or scold them.

6. If the parents have passed away, it is a must for the children to make dua for their parents’ safety in the world of barzakh.


7. Prophet Muhammad (ه وـسلم (ـصلى الـله علـيsaid: your deeds will be displayed in front of your parents and relatives that are passed away, therefore, if your deeds are excellent, they feel happy to knew about it but if it is on contrary, they will ask Allah to grant guidances for their relatives as Allah bestow upon them during their lifetime.


8. In the month of Rejab, lets makes a lot of fasting (sawm), recommendention deeds (sunnah) and visit our parents if we are able to do so.
