Keying and Transparency

Keying

• Open projectEffect Keying Keylight

• Use Screen Colour to select the green which removes green

• Select Pen tool • Draw around image• Remove background

• Drop in new project under top layer

• Line up and scale to where it needs to be

Transparency

• Open new footage

• Drag new footage over the original footage

• Press F4 to open track Matte • Change it to Luma Matte• this makes anything that is black

transparent

• Open Curves and blow out brightness – this makes it clearer
