Dear Staff:
Every day, you educate our students’ minds and hearts. Every day, you work hard to nurture their abilities and dreams to ensure that every student is ready for college, career and life. Every day, you are helping Orting’s students prepare for the future today. But, it’s not every day that we take the oppor-tunity to pause, reflect and say thank you. I would like to take that opportuni-
ty today.
As the holiday season approaches, I am counting my blessings: more than 2,470 students, 260 team members and a community that believes in the power of education for all to benefit and strengthen Orting, Washington, and our
country.
Because of our work together our stu-dents are receiving a quality education through achievements and activities
such as:
Orting High School Cardinals receive School of Distinction Award for the third consecutive year! Fewer than 10 high schools have ever managed
this feat.
One-to-one mentoring through Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound helps change the lives of local
youth in need.
