“ I like to see Jessica running around. There’s so much to do and touch. It’s very stimulating for her.“
Anna (38) is a mother of two - Jessica (age 3) and Sarah (13).
They are from Duntocher and it takes an hour to drive into Glasgow.
She uses the museum regularly – particularly on wet days.
Largely comes for Jessica’s benefit and to get out of the house.
She also always enjoys the exhibitions.
Today Jessica was being a typical 3 year old and having a temper tantrum.
Anna was tired of this and wanted to get out of the house.
From experience Anna knew that Kelvingrove would entertain and
educate Jessica.
Anna is attracted by relaxing atmosphare and oppertunity to spend hours
in the museum as it keeps here daughter happy.
Exciting and engaging exhibitions.
Relaxing atmosphere.
Safe environment for Jessica to run around.

David is a retired policeman and Shirley is an artist.
David is 66 and Shirley is 61 years of age.
They are from Dunblane and regularly come to Glasgow to visit family.
Shirley enjoys art galleries but they are not regulars to the Kelvingrove.
In Glasgow for the day visiting family , and the Quentin Blake exhibition.
They have previously taken their grandkids but found this quite stressful,
as the children cant focus on one thing at once.
David and Shirley came for a more relaxing experience today.
They went directly to the Quentin Blake exhibition first and then had
a small look around and then for lunch.
Direction to what they want to see.
Easy to navigate floor plan.
