Demag KBK Freestanding Work StationUtilizing standard and custom designedcomponents and pre-designedfreestanding KBK Kits, the Demag KBKFreestanding Work Station provides theperfect solution for your lifting needs.Crane kits with spans from 10 to 26feet are available. Capable of handlingloads up to 2200 lbs., the KBKFreestanding Work Station can be easilyinstalled into an existing or new workstation to provide instant liftingassistance. In fact, with the flexibility ofadding additional KBK Track, the DemagKBK Freestanding Work Station is themost versatile and easiest to install onthe market today.

Simple InstallationUsing bolted connections, the DemagKBK Freestanding Work Station doesnot require field welding. The KBK Work Station can be set up and or relocated nearly anywhere on a 6” thick concrete floor. Note:Concrete quality must be checked to insure that itwill support the anchor bolt force.

1. Demag DK Chain HoistsDemag DK Chain Hoists incorporate theworld’s most advanced mechanical andelectrical engineering. Available in liftingcapacities from 1 to 5 tons and can besupplied in lug, manual trolley orpowered trolley combinations. AllDemag DK Chain Hoists come standardwith a lifetime brake warranty.

Demag KBK Hanger SuspensionsKBK Hanger Suspensions can attach tomost wide flange support structures.Horizontal stresses transferred into thesupport structure are minimized becauseKBK Hangers pendulate. Lengths ofthreaded rods permit suspensions ofdifferent heights as well as easyadjustments for track leveling. Springclip couplings allow for fast installationand a positive connection.

FestooningKBK Festooning sliders operate inside ofthe KBK Track. This design results in asmooth motion as well as protecting thesliders from being damaged and exposedto the environment. The KBK Festooningis an economical method to transferpower, either air or electric to the hoist.

Crane EyeThe KBK Crane Suspension Eye allowsthe bridge to skew as the result of itsswivel design. This eliminates anybinding within the Endtrucks, which canoccur with rigid mounted systems. Thisresults in substantially reduced forceswhich the operator must exert on thecrane bridge to begin motion. KBK is the easiest moving system available onthe market.

Demag KBK TrackThe unique design of Demag KBK Track produces a lightweight, but strong modulartrack system. Trolleys running inside the track permit safe, clean and quiet operationfor loads up to 7,000 lbs. Festooning of cables and hoses to lifting devices is madeeasy by using light weight festooning trolleys and sliders. Internal electrification trackis also available in our KBK-IIR track series.
