KATO’S NEW STARTER SET

“GLACIER ON TOUR”

The most beautiful paint-scheme “Glacier Express”will be released before Christmas holiday season!

Just in time before Christmas Seasons starts, Kato plan to release “Glacier Express” starter set including Unitrack compact set and power pack controller. The locomotive in the train GE4/4-III is of the 75th anniversary version, which is the most popular with “Glacier on Tour” logo on the sides in red and silver body paint scheme.

The track sections in the set, the existing UnitrackCompact Set CV1 plus 2 pcs. 248 mm straight track, make an oval track with Radius 150mm curves. With this starter set, the modelers will feel the advantage of Unitrack, easily running trains in a compact space.

The package will also indicate track expansion plans in combination with Unitrack V sets, UnitrackCV sets on its back side.

SIMULTANEOUS RELEASE WITH “GLACIER EXPRESS” STARTER SET

UNITRACK COMPACT SET CV3

Combined with R150 curves in “Glacier Express” Starter Set, CV3 can make a double-track oval.

Simultaneously with the release of “Glacier Express” Starter Set, a new track set CV3 will join the UnitrackCompact series with such small radius curves as R117, R150 and R183. CV3 is to expand a track plan with R183 curves. Using CV3 alone or in combination with CV1 and/or CV2, you can make various track plans even on a small table. What’s more, CV3 can be used in combination with normal Unitrack V series sets.

Please use Crossing 90° (20-320) if you want to run a combination with the Starter-Set Tracks or other Sets (see samples below.
