Responses to where youth are accessing alcohol (there is an overlap in percentages as many respondents listed more than 1 source of access): 56% believe its from older friends 49% believe its provided by parents 29% believe an adult is providing 20% believe older siblings are providing

Potential barriers where listed as follows (there is an overlap in percentages as many respondents listed more than 1 source of obstacles): 34% report the social acceptance/social norms/rite of passage of

underage drinking are barriers 16% cite that parents who don’t care and lack of support from parents

are barriers 11% believe providers and users are barriers 11% believe law enforcement aren’t enforcing the laws as they should
