Selecting Patches
Use the following procedure to select patches:1. In the MODE area, press the PATCH button so it
lights.2. Press the desired Patch Category button under
the display so it lights.3. Turn the VALUE dial at the right of the display to
choose a patch from the selected category.
Transposing the KeyboardUse the following procedure to transpose thekeyboard by octaves:1. Press OCTAVE UP or DOWN to shift the
keyboard up or down by octaves.2. Press OCTAVE UP and DOWN simultaneously
to turn transposition off.
Use the following procedure to transpose thekeyboard by half steps:1. While holding TRANSPOSE, press:
OCTAVE UP to make the notes played onthe keyboard go up a half-step.
OCTAVE DOWN to make notes played onthe keyboard go down a half-step.
2. Press OCTAVE UP and DOWN simultaneouslyto turn transposition off.
Playing the Demo Songs
Heres how to listen to the demo song:1. In the EDIT area, press SONG so its lit.2. Press the WRITESAVE/LOAD button.3. Press the WORLD button beneath the display to
select Load Song+Smpls.4. Press VOCAL/PAD (LOAD).5. Press VOCAL/PAD (EXEC).6. Press PLAY in the SONG RECORDER area.7. Press AUDIO TRACK in the same area to
display the audio tracks.8. Mix the demo as desired using the four TRACK
faders.9. Press STOP when youre finished.
Clearing the Demo Song
Use the following procedure to clear the demo song:1. In the EDIT area, press SONG so it lights.3. Press MENU so it lights.3. Press the GUITAR button beneath the display to
select SONG CLEAR.4. Press VOCAL/PAD (EXEC).
RecordingThe JUNO-G has a 16-track sequencer. Use thefollowing steps to record a few tracks:1. In the MODE area, press PERFORM so it lights.2. Turn the VALUE dial to select PRST:002
Seq:Template.3. Press the BRASS button beneath the display to
select PARTVIEW.4. Turn the VALUE dial to select a patch for the first
track of your recording.5. Press the SONG RECORDER areas REC
button so it flashes.
Note : If you want to silence the metronome, pressTEMPO in the SONG RECORDER area, and then
press the BRASS button beneath the display. PressVOCAL/PAD beneath the display to close theTEMPO menu.
6. Press PLAY to begin recording.7. Hold STOP and press BWD when youre
finished.8. Press the ! button to select your next track.9. Turn the VALUE dial to select a patch for the
second track of your recording.10. Press REC, and then PLAY to begin recording.
Note : While recording your next track, you will belistening to the first track you recorded.
11. Hold STOP and press BWD when yourefinished.
12. Press PLAY to listen to your recorded tracks.
13. To record additional tracks, repeat Steps 7-12.
