JUNIOR CAMP GLOSSARY | SUMMER 2019

July 2: Favorite Sports Team Day - Wear your favorite team gear and show off your team pride!

July 3: Stars and Stripes Day - Wear something red, white and blue to help celebrate Independence Day!

July 4: Happy 4th! Camp Closed.

July 5: Camper BINGO - Get to know your fellow campers in a game of BINGO where the spots on your card each represent a friend at camp!

July 8: Wacky Relay Day - Junior Camp Campers will get silly with some wacky and fun races on the fields.

July 9: Halloween in July Day - Wear your AWESOME Halloween Costumes for a Halloween Bash in the SUMMER!

July 10: Slip and Slide Day - A perfect activity for a HOT SUMMER Day...Campers will get to slide down while cooling off!

July 11: Circus Dubois - The circus comes to BZMT, an action packed show featuring some juggling, hula hoops, unicycle, and circus stunts!

July 12: BZMT Spirit & 3 Year Shirts - Wear your BZMT gear to show off your camp spirit! Get ready to cheer for the campers that are celebrating three summers at BZMT!

July 15: Tie Dye Week Begins! Gold Rush Day - Yee-Haw! Junior Campers will search the Junior Camp Quad for gold!

July 16: Hollywood Day - Dress up like a character from your favorite movie or TV show! Official Camp Photo Day - Get ready to smile for the camera and wear your BZMT shirt! Don’t worry if you don’t have one, we’ll have one for you.

July 19: BZMT Spirit & 5 Year Club - Wear your BZMT gear to show off your camp spirit! Get ready to cheer for the campers that are celebrating five summers at BZMT!

July 22: Photo Scavenger Hunt - Campers will go on a scavenger hunt around BZMT and take pictures of their findings!

July 23: Island Day - Get your flowers and beach wear. Enjoy some limbo, island activities and treats throughout the day!

July 24: Backwards Day - Wear your clothes backwards and be prepared for things to be backwards around BZMT!

July 25: Carnival - A day of games,and activities and specials snacks.

July 29 - Aug. 2: BZMT Ninja Warrior Week - We have our own new challenge course for campers to test their skills & become a true BZMT Ninja Warrior!

July 30: Junior Camp Show Part 1 - (Bears & Broncos) Campers will perform for the campers. Families will be able to watch a livestream of the performances! Silly Sock Day: Wear your craziest, silliest socks!

July 31: Junior Camp Show Part 2 - (Braves & Butterflies) Campers will perform for the camp, families will be able to watch a livestream of the performances!

Monty’s 3rd Birthday - It’s our big, blue panda’s 3rd Birthday! We will celebrate Monty and everyone at camp that doesn’t have a summer birthday, today! Aug. 1: Two by Two Zoo - Our friends at Two by Two Zoo will bring some animal friends to spend the day with us at BZMT!

Aug. 5: Charity Week Begins! Our annual food, school supplies, and sneakers drive will be all week long. Families can send in food, shoes, cleats, and back to school supplies as they are being collected to be donated to local charities! Aug. 6: Super Hero Day - Who is your Superhero? Is it Superman? Batman? Wonder Woman? Your teacher? Your mom or dad? Dress up as your favorite Superhero!

Aug. 7: S'mores Day - Campers will roast marshmallows with their groups to make yummy s’mores!

Aug. 8: Wacky Water Day - Water activities in and out of the pools!

Aug. 9: Color Run - Campers will participate in our Color Run around the lake to raise money for our favorite charity - Project Morry.

Aug. 12: Chalk It Up - Campers will grab chalk & show off their artistic side all over the BZMT pavement!

Aug. 13: Wear Your Tie Dye Day - Wear your BZMT made tie dye shirt or any tie dye you may have!

Aug. 15: It’s Blue vs. White in a showdown to the end. All campers will receive an Olympic Team Shirt and compete in activities all day.

Aug. 16: Oceans Rock - The museum comes to camp! Campers will get to pet a stingray. Touch a shark. Dig and keep fossil shark teeth and collect seashells.

Aug. 19: Foam Dance Party- Bubbles will be everywhere! Can you make the biggest bubble?

Aug. 20: Pirate Day - Yo-ho-ho... put on your best pirate gear and get ready for a day of treasure and surprises!

Aug. 22: Bossy Frog Band - The frog and his friends are back for a day of music at BZMT!

Aug. 23: Celebrate the last day of camp with the ice cream truck and bubble bus!

July 23 - July 24: Poconos Springs Trip - (Eagles & Flamingos) Spend one night and two days at Camp Poconos Springs where campers will experience the fun of resident camp and still be close to home. July 23: Island Day - Get your flowers and beach wear. Enjoy some limbo, island activities and treats throughout the day!

July 24: Backwards Day - Wear your clothes backwards and be prepared for things to be backwards around BZMT!

July 10: Wacky Relay Day - Varsity Camp Campers will get silly with some wacky and fun races on the fields.

July 11: Archery Tag - Back by popular demand! Varsity Campers gear up and play tag, using foam tipped arrows and inflatable targets.

July 12: BZMT Spirit & 3 Year Shirts - Wear your BZMT gear to show off your camp spirit!!! Get ready to cheer for the campers that are celebrating three summers at BZMT!

July 24: Rockland Boulders Trip - (Falcons, Hawks, & Wrens) Campers will take in a Boulders Game! Buses leave just after arrival, lunch will be at the game and buses are back before dismissal.


July 29 - Aug. 2: BZMT Ninja Warrior Week - We have our own new challenge course for campers to test their skills and become a true BZMT Ninja Warrior!

July 29 - July 31: Club Getaway Trip - (Raptors & Doves) Spend 3 days and 2 nights on the beach in Kent, CT. Ropes, campfires, pools and more for our oldest campers.

July 30: Silly Sock Day - Wear your craziest, silliest socks! Boundless Adventures Ropes Course - (Falcons, Hawks, & Wrens)

July 31: Monty’s 3rd Birthday - It’s our big, blue pandas 3rd Birthday!!! We will celebrate Monty and everyone at camp that doesn’t have a summer birthday, today!
