Introduction
Cindy is an active and cheerful child who is studying at Bukit View Primary School. Her CCA is badminton and she has been consuming food which has contain Carbohydrates such as soft drinks, sweets and donuts. As a result, she has
easily to cause her to pant after a few minutes of training.
Nutritional Needs
As she has been consuming too much carbohydrates, she become fatter. So, she
needs a health meal plan in order to help her to reduce on consuming carbohydrates.
( Examples : instead of white rice, she could replace of eating brown rice or grain rice. )

Fats, Oils and Sweets : Use sparingly Milk, Yogurt and Cheese group : 2 – 3 servings Meat, Poultry, Fish, Dry Beans, Eggs and Nuts : 2-3 servings Fruits (apple, pear and pineapple) : 2 – 4 servings Bread, Cereal, Rice, and Pasta group : 6 – 11 servings
*No sweet ingredient should be inside the food

What are the nutrients? Five main nutrients are-
(1) Carbohydrates are energy-giving nutrients which helps to produce energy. However, the excess carbohydrates will convert into fats and will lead to obesity.
(2) Fats are good source of energy which keep us warm and protect the organs inside our bodies. However ,too much fats in our body may lead to heart diseases.
(3) Proteins are need for growth repair and maintenance of cells. Too little protein in our diet can lead to deficiency disease called kwashiorkor.
(4) Vitamins protect our bodies from diseases and keep our bodies functioning well. However, a lack of any vitamin can cause serious health problems
(5) Minerals help our bodies stay healthy and function well.

Breakfast : 1) Milk- milk contain high in calcium and protein 2) Whole meal bread- whole meal contain fibre and protein 3) Cheese- cheese contain, protein, phosphorus, zinc, vitamin A and vitamin B12. 4) Eggs- eggs contain fibre, protein and minerals 5) Baked beans- beans contain protein, fibre and stabilizing blood sugar which
