Save a life…… As is tradition at St. Peter’s, the day we celebrate “Corpus Christi” the Body and Blood of Christ, is June 23 this year. On this day, we donate blood through the Red Cross

campaign to help others. We can relate this to the gesture as what Jesus also did for us in giving his blood for our Salvation. For those that are unable to donate , there will be an opportunity to pray for those who are able to donate for us. The Blessed Sacrament will be displayed from 10:00 am to 11:45 in the Church as a gesture that Jesus also did for us before His Father. Either way by donating blood or praying before the Blessed Sacrament, as a community, we will unite to save lives and souls. Thank you for giving and thank you for praying!

Salva una vida… Como es tradición, el día que celebramos el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo (este año el 23 de Junio) aquí en nuestra iglesia hacemos la donación de sangre, me-diante la campana de la Cruz Roja y donde muchos de ustedes se ofrecen a donar sangre para ayudar a otros. Un gesto que podemos relacionar a lo que hizo Jesús por nosotros, dar su sangre por nuestra Salvación. Para aquellos que por algún motivo no podrán donar, habrá la oportunidad de rezar por aquellos que lo es-tán haciendo por nosotros, mediante la oración frente al Santísimo expuesto ese mismo día de 10:00 am hasta las 11:45am en la iglesia. Un gesto que igualmente lo relacionamos a lo que hizo Jesús por todos nosotros ante su Padre. Ya sea donando sangre o rezando ante el Santísimo, como comunidad nos uniremos a salvar vidas y/o a salvar almas. Gracias por donar y gracias por rezar…
