Worship Walk Work Witness

Welcome to Cornerstone! We are glad that you are here to worship with us today. We celebrate a great and mighty God who loves us unconditionally and sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to bear the burden of our failures and become the bridge between a holy God and sinful people. If you know Jesus as your Savior and Lord we hope that you grow in love and commitment in that relationship and connect with others who share that desire. If you are not a baptized believer in Jesus, we lovingly and urgently encourage you to commit your life to Him today.

Rock Solid Children’s Ministry for Birth-5th Grade is offered during BOTH services. Nursery and Toddler care is provided for children under the age of 3. Our nursery in room 101 also offers a private room for nursing mothers. Little Kidz Church for ages 3 – Pre-Kindergarten will meet in room 102. Kidz Church for children Kindergarten-5th Grade mirrors our adult worship and is located in room 107 in the education wing. For more details, please visit the Kidz Check-In Center.

Communion is offered every week at Cornerstone to commemorate the sacrificial death of Jesus and to celebrate His future return for His people. All who know Jesus as Savior and Lord are welcome to participate in taking the bread and cup. (If unable someone will serve you)

An offering is taken each week to supply the needs of Cornerstone Christian Church and to partner with those who are teaching, training, and taking Jesus to the world.

Cornerstone U is available each week between our two worship services. A variety of elective Bible classes are taught to increase your depth of understanding in God’s Word and apply His principles to your daily experience. Student classes are available by age, birth through high school.

Life Groups are the best way to get connected with people at Cornerstone. Groups meet at various locations and times throughout the week.

We invite you to join us at Cornerstone on Wednesday, June 17th from 6-7:00 p.m. for an

introduction night for the NEW Genesis Process for CHANGE – Change Groups. This

NEW Group will meet on Wednesday nights beginning June 24th from 6-8 p.m. This group

is open to anyone wanting to heal from the hurts, hang-ups and coping behaviors that have

taken over our lives and help us to return to the former healthy place that God intended for

us to live. The Genesis Process for Change blends sound Biblical principles and the latest

understanding of the brain. The workbook is written in a practical application format. These

20 processes help us to answer the question from the book of Romans that says, “Why do we

do the very thing we don’t want to do?” These unique, effective processes are easy to apply

to real life and are easy to implement. The only cost is $25 for the workbook. If you have

questions please plan on attending the information meeting on Wednesday, June 17th. You

Hi! I’m Hannah Dietrich!

I am the Worship Administrative Assistant. I help communicate to

the team members, produce materials to support Worship Teams,

and create visual arts and other tech-y things for the Worship

Ministry. Whew.

Educational Background

I am in my last semester at Lincoln Christian University. I have one

more class to take before I graduate!

Hobbies/Interests

I love fishing, tennis and hockey.

I love going to bookstores and reading for hours.

I love to bake. I have made cookies, cupcakes, croissants, cake,

turnovers, bread, baguettes and much more! I love being able to

share my baked goods with others.

I love to knit and crochet. I have made blankets for my family,

and friends since 1st grade. I have made hats, legwarmers, scarves and blankets.

If you haven’t guessed I’m really geeky. I love anime, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Star Wars, Star

Trek, the I.T. Crowd… seriously the list goes on…

I have loved video games since I was little. I remember playing Super Mario World on the

Super Nintendo with my dad when I was in kindergarten. Currently I love playing Star Wars

Battlefront 2, Minecraft, Pokémon and a lot more.

Something you might already know

I love really lame puns way too much. I love sheep. I have 6 plushie sheep at home. Recently

for a photography class, I used one of my sheep as a prop for almost all of my photos

including one with them in a baby swing.

Something you might not know

I’m a 2nd degree black belt in Karate, Jiu Jitsu, and some weapons like Nunchakus.

Family

My husband Collin’s pretty neat. He loves tech-y things more than I do. We like to play video

games and binge watch food network shows (Chopped, Cutthroat Kitchen) like some people

watch sports.

SUMMER OPPORTUNITY

We are told through Deuteronomy 6:5-7 to integrate God’s Word and His love into

our everyday lives…every day. So, we should naturally include God into every

part of our life, from carpooling kids, to running errands around town, to having

lunch with our friends, to working our jobs, to settling down at night with our

families.

This summer, Cornerstone is offering “The 7 Laws of the Teacher – Applied

Principles of Learning” by Dr. Howard Hendricks. Whether you’re a parent,

grandparent, mentor, Life Group leader, Cornerstone U teacher, school

teacher…this group will renew your thinking about teaching – influencing – and

unleash your effectiveness as a communicator of biblical truth for life-changing

impact.

Join us on Wednesday evenings beginning June 17 at 6:00pm for 7 weeks. Cost

VBS FAMILY EXPERIENCE – June 14th

After what we’re anticipating will be a great week at EVEREST VBS, we

want to invite all of our VBS Crew back to help us lead worship VBS Style

next Sunday, June 14th. Kids are invited to lead at both the 8:15 & 10:45

services, with a special VBS FAMILY EXPERIENCE in between from 9:30-

10:30 AM in the gym. We hope all of our EVEREST VBS Crew can make it

back and bring their families along for this special day as we celebrate

God’s mighty power together!

John 3:16, is the passage that is sometimes called the “Hope Diamond” of scripture. It’s the perfect way to

introduce the gospel to friends and acquaintances through a different type of connection time.

3:16 Café @ CCC

Open to High School, College and Adults, the 3:16 Café is a Connection and Fellowship group that will use Laughter and other fun things to bring home and share the message of hope that God has for us through His Word. We are hopefully planning on having these events continue into the fall. Come join us in the gym at our opening night on June 23rd! Cornerstone Women’s Ministry will be hosting a Listen to my Life Workshop on

Friday night, June 26th from 6-9:30 p.m. This Workshop will use one of the

Listen to My Life Visual Maps to Offer you the opportunity to document and

draw the current realities and circumstances of your life. We will then learn

together, listen together and most of all connect with God together. The cost of

the workshop is $20 and includes your evening meal and workshop materials.

Once you are registered you will receive a packet in the mail with your maps

and materials. To be a part of the workshop you will need to complete the

packet and bring it with you. To register go online to our website or on the
