vacationbibleschoolandattendedSt.SavaCampformanyyears.MelanieisthedaughterofEricandYolyMiller.

NickolasVukajlovićwillbegraduatingfromClovisNorthwitha4.1g.p.a.Hewasonmyschool’sswimteamfor4yearsandwasactiveinseveralvolunteerclubs.IwillbeattendingFresnoStateinthefall,major-inginpsychologywithaminorinbusiness.HehaveservedasanaltarboyforaslongasIcanrememberandhaveen-joyeditverymuch,alongwithbeingactiveinthechurchschoolandvolunteeringduringthesummerwithVacationBibleSchool.NickoisthesonofMarkandCristinaVukajlović

College TimothyMcAteegraduatedfromFresnoStatewithaBachelorsofFineArtsinGraphicDesign.InthegraphicdesignBFApro-gramwearegivenalotofopportunitiestonet-workwithlocaldesign-ersandagencies,whoalsoprovideuswithmanyofourprojects.I'vereceivedmultiplelocaladvertisingawardsthroughtheFresnoAd-vertisingFederation,andIalsowastherecip-ientoftheirJohnReedKingScholarshipthattheyawardtothreelocalstudentseachyearbasedontheiraptitudeinmarketingordesign.

ThegraphicdesignBFAclassalwaysendstheirsenioryearwithaportfolioexhibition,whichtakesalotofgroupplanningandcoordinationinadditiontopreparingourpersonalportfolios.DuringthereceptionIreceivedanawardofexcellenceforthegraphicdesigntrackoftheprogram(therearetwoothertracks:illustrationandmul-timedia).TimisthesonofRandyandJaniceMcAtee.

Parish activities... S.H.A.R.E.S. Cards changes:Last year, Save Mart converted to eScrip for their non-profit fundraising program. To enroll, go to Save Mart’s website www.savemart.com/shares/ and select St. Peter Serbian Orthodox Church as your charity. You will have an option of a phone number, credit/debit card or both.  If you pay cash or by check for your gro-ceries, you can type in your phone number or give it to the cashier.   If you buy your groceries using credit cards you can add your card number as well as a phone number.  Your purchase is automatically credit-ed to St. Peter’s.  Once you sign up with e-Scrip though Save Mart then you are automatically regis-tered with all of the e-Scrip participating merchants and online stores.Another way to support our Scholarship Fund is through Amazon Smile. Re- member, al-ways start at smile.amazon.com and Amazon will do-nate 0.5% of the price of your eligible AmazonSmile purchases. Select “Serbian Orthodox Church of St Pe-ter” as your charity. Change for Babies Campaign:Our parish is participating in the Fresno Pregnancy Care Center's annual fundraiser: “Change for Babies”. Baby bottles are available at the narthex can-dle stand, so pick one up on Sun-day. They will be collected in church on Fatherʼs Day. Please join us in supporting this very worthwhile organization. Remember each day to keep adding your loose change so that we can top last year’s total of $977.37

Diocesan Summer Camp: Log on to the camp website for information about this years camp dates and online registration. www.camp-stsava.org. The church will offer a stipend of $75.00 for each child who is registered on our Church School program for 2016 - 2017. The fees will increase by $50 for all applications submitted after June 15. Fr. George will be at camp during the 3rd week, July 23 -29. All parish children are encouraged to attend!

Pew Book Holders… The next time you are in church you will notice the beautiful wooden book holders attached to our pews, replacing the old plastic holders. Each book holder (40 total!) were individually handcrafted by John Baziuk, with the assistance of Peter Livanis. This was the fulfillment of a goal of John’s ever since the pews were refinished over 15 years ago. Working on this over the past five months, John was able to complete and install them in time for yesterday’s festival! Our heartfelt thanks to John and Suzie for donating these holders to the church. God bless you for your generosity and grant you Many Years!
