ABOUT STEMCON

EMMANUELSFENDOURAKISGENERAL MANAGERBachelor of Engineering

Emmanuel, a co-founder of Stemcon equally

shares the passion and philosophy. He brings all

manners of control to the team and improvement

in the areas of administrative business processes,

regulatory compliance, contract management,

quality assurance, occupational health and safety

and environmental and risk management. His

extensive experience working with Australian and

multi-national organisations in operations

management, has afforded him strong command

and influence in this sphere of business.

All our staff are employed on the basis that they are

results oriented and can demonstrate the capability

to champion priority-management of activities. Our IT

management systems allow for effective and direct

communication between site and the office. This

results in a united project team.

Steve is a co-founder and managing director of

Stemcon, which was established in 2008. He leads

a team of industry professionals who strive for a

culture of excellence in all aspects of business. His

extensive experience of over 25 years in property

development, has demonstrated his passion for

building valuable client relationships for life. Steve

believes in the philosophy of “return business is

the best form of promotion.”

Con, the third co-founder of Stemcon, brings his

extensive management skills to the team,

garnered from running Conway Electrics over the

past 30 years. His strengths extend to industrial

relations, human resources, contractor relations,

and plant management.

BILL HARALAMBAKIS

CONSTRUCTION MANAGERBachelor of Engineering

Bill is a key member of the Stemcon team, with over

20 years experience in various management role

capacities, working for various builders including

multi-nationals. He has consolidated his skills in the

planning, execution and control of multi-million

dollar construction projects. He is responsible for

the construction and design division, and delivery,

of all project sites. He oversees all activities by

project managers, contract administrators and site

personnel. Bill’s forte is to direct, mentor and work

closely with team members to compile project

progress information, analyse and report directly to

the board. The key focus of reporting is always

planning for risk mitigation.

TOM NGUYEN

ACCOUNTING & FINANCEAssociate CPA Accountant

Tom is an integral member of the Stemcon team.

Tasked with the role of a financial controller, his

key responsibilities are in the area of strategic

financial allocation and in the control of multi-

million dollar budgets. Financial planning,

controlling and reporting are the monthly focus

per project, ensuring Stemcon’s commitments are

timely, both to the subcontractors and clients.

JAMES ANASTA

Project ManagementBachelor of Engineering

James is a valuable member of the construction

team and is responsible for managing individual

projects from site commencement through to

completion. With over 20 years experience as a

Project Manager in tier 1 and 2 building

organisations working on multilevel high density

projects, he is responsible for the delivery of each

project in accordance to cost and time parameters.

JOSEPH LEBBOS

DESIGN MANAGERArchitect

Joe has been a key member of many of

Melbourne’s large scale commercial development

documentation teams. He contributes experience,

skill, and diligence to the coordination and auditing

of small to large scale projects. With over 30 years

of experience evaluating computer aided design

packages to tailor systems which most efficiently

produce high quality documentation. His recent

experience sees his passion for the delivery of high

volume residential projects, and supporting

companies in achieving QA ISO 9001 certification.

Joe’s commitment to Stemcon is to project

manage and coordinate external consultant design

teams to produce quality documentation.

STEMCON SYSTEMSKEY MANAGEMENT TOOLS

Stemcon has employed the use of key

management tools to support its business

process. The cornerstone system is an all

encumbering information management system

that allows the team to be in the know in real

time with every issue encountered within the

operation. There is support in areas in

estimating management, Enterprise Resource

Planning, Earned Value Management,

Information Management. Access to all these

tools are via a secure Information Technology

network, underpinned by state of the art

backup support.

COMPLETION SYSTEM

STEMCON takes pride on completion of every

project to a very high standard. The completion

process is comprehensive and precise, so that all

deliverables are presented as expected at

Handover. Clients are left satisfied with full

documentation on defects resolution, signoff

certification, individual owner manuals.

DELIVERY SYTEM

STEMCON utilises detailed Management &

Delivery Systems to ensure all project objectives

are achieved. These systems include

Management Tools to control all aspects of

Project Delivery also incorporating Quality

Assurance, Health & Safety and Environmental

management processes.

Safety is our primary consideration at STEMCON. We are committed to maintaining and promoting a

healthy and safe workplace for all of our employees, subcontractors, clients and visitors; whilst

simultaneously striving for continual improvement in our health and safety system. We are

unwavering in our careful following of all industry standards and codes of practice that relate to our

business activities.

STEMCON recognizes that operating in a sustainable and responsible manner is crucial business

practice. We are conscious of our responsibility to the environment, and are involved in continually

improving our environmental management standards.

We maintain environmental management objectives that allow us to measure the effective

implementation of our systems and assess and control environment impact when possible.

REGISTRATIONS AND MEMBERSHIPS

STEMCON is a registered building contractor with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA). In addition,

we are proudly a member of the Master Builders Association of Victoria (MBAV), the Australian

Institute of Building, and Greenstar; and are dedicated to abiding by the common code of ethics

which promotes building and business with integrity.
