MONDAY – May 21 (Day 1): DepartureDepart for our overnight in flight to Beirut Lebanon. We are served dinner and breakfast on board.

TUESDAY – May 22 (Day 2): Arrival to Beirut Airport – Transfer to HotelWe will arrive in Beirut Airport, we will meet our guide & bus driver and head directly to our hotel in Jounieh fordinner and overnight

WEDNESDAY – May 23 (Day 3): Byblos – Churches in Behdaidat – Jeita GrottoAfter breakfast, we will star our tour with a visit to Jbeil (Byblos), on the Mediterranean Sea, and it has an amazingancient port with crusaders ruins, then we will continue to visit the churches there which are Har Mar Youssef, HarMar Nohra and Har Mar Jerios. End of the day will be visiting Jeita Grotto. Return to our hotel for dinner andovernight.

THURSDAY – May 24 (Day 4): Bsharri – Jubran Khalil Jubran Museum - Springof Mar Sarkis – Saint Antonio’s Kozhaya

On this day will start our day with a visit to city of Bsharri the birthplace of the famous poet Jubran Khalil Jubran,then we will continue to visit the museum which was built in 1975. The site includes Jubran’s furniture, personalbelongings, and private library. Then we continue to visit the monastery of Mar Sarkis, which was built in 8th

century and its located in Zgharta district in north Lebanon. Dinner and overnight will be at hotel in Jounieh.

FRIDAY – May 25 (Day 5): Harissa by Cable Car–Meet MaronitePatriarch–St. Jacob

After breakfast, we will visit Harissa by Cable Car. Harissa is a key Christian pilgrimage site with a shrine dedicatedto Our Lady of Lebanon. And it’s located 27 km north of Beirut. After that we will have a meeting with the MaronitePatriarch. End of the day will be visiting Saint Jacob Church in Beirut. Dinner and overnight in Hotel.

SATURDAY – May 26 (Day 6): Saint Charbel Anaya–Saint HardiniBlessed Stephen

On this day, we will start our day visiting many sites of Saints who preformed Miraculous Cures. Dinner andovernight in Hotel.

SUNDAY – May 27 (Day 7): Visiting Syrian Refugee Camps in BeirutWe depart from our hotel in Beirut, and we will have a full day tour visiting the Syrian refugee camps in Lebanon &Beirut, where thousands of Syrians left their country and living now in refugee camps in Beirut, we will see howthey are living their daily life. Dinner at hotel in Jounieh.

MONDAY – May 28 (Day 8): Lady of Mantara – SidonAfter breakfast, we depart to visit our Lady of Mantara (Our Lady of Waiting) which is a Melkite Greek CatholicShrine in Lebanon, its located 50 KM away from Beirut, in Maghdouche district. Then we continue to visit Sidon onethe sea, which is the third largest city in Lebanon. (Sidon is a son of Canaan). Dinner and overnight in Jounieh

TUESDAY – May 29 (Day 9): Depart Lebanon–Arrival JordanTransfer to Hotel

On this day, we will depart Lebanon and arrive to Jordan through Queen Alia International Airport. Your group willtransfer to your hotel in Amman in time to check-in. Enjoy dinner at the hotel before retiring for the evening.

WEDNESDAY – May 30 (Day 10): Maronite Monastery of St. Charbel - MadabaMt. Nebo – Meeting with Priest at the Monastery in Fuheis

After breakfast, we will start our day with a visit to Maronite Monastery of St. Charbel. Then continue to Madaba“City of Mosaics,” Madaba (approximately one hour and forty minutes). While in this city, you will visit St. George’sChurch that is home to a true treasure of Christianity. This Church houses the oldest map of the Holy Land whichincludes Israel, Palestine, and Southern Egypt. Later, you will visit Mt. Nebo the most revered holy sites of Jordan.This mountain was mentioned in Deuteronomy 34, “Then Moses climbed Mount Nebo from the plains of Moab tothe top of Pisgah…”. End of the day will be meeting the priest in Fuheis who take care of Iraqi refugees. Dinner andovernight in Amman.

THURSDAY – May 31 (Day 11): Amman – Petra – AmmanWe will start our day after breakfast with a drive to the “lost” city of Petra, This city is located amongst ruggeddesert canyons and mountains. Today, you will enjoy a walking tour of the former capital and trading center. Yourfirst stop will be a visit to the Siq, a mile-long gorge that contains a number of magnificent structures that arecarved into the mountains. The walk will culminate with a visit to the Petra Museum. The Museum holds numerousartifacts from the Neolithic period of the Nabataen history. The museum also contains architecture from theRomans as well as, a Byzantine chapel. After a touring day we will get back to Amman for dinner and overnight.

FRIDAY – June 01 (Day 12): Bethany Beyond Jordan – Sheikh HussienTabor – Tiberias

After breakfast we will depart from hotel and visit Bethany. Then we cross the Sheikh Hussien bridge and arrive toIsrael, then we continue to Mount Tabor and we will visit the Basilica of the transfugiration. Dinner and overnight inNazareth.

SATURDAY – June 02 (Day 13): Caesarea – Stella Maris – Nazareth – CanaTiberias

On this day will start our trip with a visit to Caesarea the former capital of Judea. Then we will continue to Haifa wewill visit the Carmelite monastery. The monastery is located above the cave where Elijah the prohpet once lived.Then we will continue to Nazareth you will experience the town where Mary once lived and where Jesus lived as achild (Matthew 2:23). During the visit to Nazareth, your group will visit the Basilica of the annunciation and churchof St. Joseph which tradition identifies as the workshop and home of the Holy Family. Also, your group will visitMary’s Well where the angel Gabriel announced to the Virgin Mary that she will bear the Son of God. End of theday will be at Cana where we will renew the wedding vows. Dinner and overnight at Nazareth.

SUNDAY – June 03 (Day 14): Sea of Galilee – Mt. Beatitudes – MagdalaCapernaum

After breakfast we will have a boat ride on the beautiful and scenic, Sea of Galilee (Luke 5:1). During this ride, yourgroup will also view the remains of a boat that dates back to the time of Jesus. Following the Sea of Galilee, yourgroup will continue on to the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus proclaimed His great Sermon on the Mount Nearthe mount is Tabgha, one of Jesus’ miracle sites. At Tabgha, Jesus fed the crowd of 5,000 people from five loaves ofbread, and two fish; also we will visit St. Peters primacy where Jesus bestowed church leadership upon Peter. Yourtour continues as you visit the birthplace of Mary Magdalene in Magdala. During the time of Jesus, this village wasa prosperous fishing village that exported fish and garum. Your day concludes at Capernaum, the launching place ofJesus’ ministry. In Capernaum, your group will have the opportunity to see the Synagogue of where Jesus taught.Dinner and overnight in Hotel in Nazareth.

MONDAY – June 04 (Day 15): Jericho – Qumran – Dead Sea – JerusalemWe will start our day with a visit to Jericho the oldest inhabited city in the world, Jericho (Joshua 6:12-25). InJericho, you will have the opportunity to view the exact location, the Mount of Temptation, of where the Deviltempted Jesus during his forty-day fast. Then a visit to Qumran is made up of 2,000 year old ruins from the days ofthe Second Temple, and also the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were written and discovered (Ezekial 47:8-10).These writings have helped further the understanding of Jewish background in Christianity. Your group will have theopportunity to take a float in the Dead Sea, the lowest and saltiest spot on Earth Dinner and overnight inBethelehm.

TUESDAY – June 05 (Day 16): Mount Olives – Mt. Zion – BethlehemOn this day we will start our day with a visit to Gethsemane a garden at the foot of the Mount of Olives. Jesusbrought His disciples here to pray the night before He was crucified. Then we will go to Mount of Olives and startthe visit with Asencion Chapel. Then we will continue to Pater Noster Church (included), where Jesus taught hisdisciples the Lord’s Prayer. You will have the opportunity to stop at Dominus Flevit, which is a Church thatcommemorates where Jesus wept for Jerusalem. Then we will continue to visit Mount Zion, there we will visit theSt. Peter in Galicantu, this Church commemorates where Jesus was examined and eventually imprisoned before theCouncil in Jerusalem. It also commemorates Peter’s Denial of Christ Peters’ repentance, and Jesus’ forgiveness ofPeter. You will also visit the Upper Room on Mt. Zion. The Upper Room is where Jesus and His disciples celebratedthe Last Supper (Matthew 26:17-30) and, where Jesus appeared to His disciples after His Death. End of the day willbe at Bethlehem and the church of the nativity and manger square. Dinner and overnight in Bethelehm.

WEDNSDAY – June 06 (Day 17): Via Dolorsoa – Holy Sepulcre – St. Anne – EcceHomo – Meeting with Patriarch of Jerusalem – Ein Karem

We will start our day with an early walk to Via Dolorosa and the condemned to death by Pontius Pilate (John 18:28-19:16). Following His condemnation, He was taken (on the Road to Calvary) to His place of Crucifixion. Your groupwill reflect upon the Stations of the Cross as you travel through the markets of the Old City to the Church of theHoly Sepulcher (Luke 23:26-33). This Sacred destination is the site of Calvary (Jesus’ crucifixion place) and, His tomb(Luke 23: 50-55). Your group will celebrate Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Following Mass, your groupwill return to the Hotel to enjoy breakfast. We will continue our day with a visit to the Church of St. Anne’s, thehome of Jesus’ maternal grandparents (Anne and Joachim); and the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus healed thecrippled man (John 5:1-9). We will have a meeting with the Patriarch of Jerusalem who deliver shells to the Knightsand Ladies of the Holy Sepulchre. End of the day will be at Ein Karem visiting the church of St. John the Baptist andChurch of the visitation. Dinner and overnight in Bethelehm.

THURSDAY – June 07 (Day 18): DepartureTransfer to Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv. Assistance to Check in, we will arrive home on the same day!

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENTS: A deposit of $500.00 per person is required tomake a reservation. An additional payment of $1000.00 per person is due byOctober 21, 2017. The final payment is due no less than 90 days prior to thedeparture date of the tour ( February 21, 2018). Payment can be made by personalcheck or money order. Credit card payments will be accepted but will incur a 4%Surcharge at the time of booking. Reservations received after October 21, 2017may incur additional charges due to supplier contract terms.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: If a passenger cancels his/her tourmembership there will be a cancellation fee of $100.00 per person to coveradministrative and communication costs up until 121 days before departure.For cancellations 120-91 days before departure the cancellation fee will be$250.00 per person. 90-61 days before departure the cancellation fee will be 50%of the Cost per person. There will be no refund for cancellations within 60 daysof departure, no-shows, or partially completed tours. All cancellation requests mustbe addressed to Goodshepherd Travel in writing. Trip cancellation insurance isrecommended.

FARE INCLUSIVE: Roundtrip air transportation from (DEN) DenverInternational- Denver CO as indicated on the registration form. 16 nightshotel accommodations, based on two people sharing a double or twin-bedded room infour star hotels by (local standards). All meals as outlined in the brochureconsisting of full Local breakfasts (B), and dinners at the hotel (D). Sightseeingas outlined in the itinerary by private motor coaches, utilizing the services of aGovernment licensed, local English speaking tour guide. Entrance fees forattractions if applicable. All transfers between airports and hotels by private motorcoach. Service charges and taxes normally levied by hotels and restaurants. All U.S.& Foreign Country departure taxes are included in the price of the tour. AIR ROUTINGS: The brochure price includes IATA jet economy class transportationfrom the international departure city applicable on all IATA and ARC carriers, basedon the 6/45 day Apex fare to the Middle East. Reserves theright to choose the air carrier, routing, and departure time for each passenger.Airfares used are based on contracted group fares and are highly restrictive.Payments for and restrictions on airline tickets are governed by the applicable fare.Cancellation fees levied by the airlines are applicable if you cancel or change yourair ticket for any reason after purchase of air ticket. Ticketing must be completed45 days prior to departure. Group fares do not permit deviations; passengers whowish to deviate may arrange their own airfare. HOTELS: Tour prices are per person, based on two people sharing a room in Deluxehotels. Single rooms are subject to availability and at an additional cost of$1,150.00 (tour participants without a roommate will have to pay single roomsurcharge).

BAGGAGE: You may check no more than one (1) piece of luggage whoseoverall dimensions does not exceed 62 inches (length + width + height) andwhose weight does not exceed fifty (50) pounds in total. Checking a secondbag will cost up to

$100.00. Each passenger may also bring one (1) piece of carry-on luggage. Tips to hotel porters are included for one normal sized piece of luggage, excluding carry-on bags which must remain in your possession at all times. These regulations may change without notice so please read the monthly correspondence you will receive from Goodshepherd Travel for the most current information. Garment bags cannotbe carried. Under no circumstances may dangerous articles such as firearms, explosives, oxygen, or combustible substances be contained in any baggage. Medications, valuables, passports, and a change of clothing should be packed in your carry-on bag.

DISABILITIES: Due to the difficult terrain at sites we visit, persons requiring oxygenor oxygen therapy will not be permitted on the tour. For reasons of passenger safetyand well-being, persons with impaired mobility, vision, or mental capacity will notbe permitted on the tour. Goodshepherd Travel reserves the right to refuse pas-sage to someone who is in such physical or mental condition as to be unfit fortravel or who may require care and attention beyond that which the tour guide andtour host can provide. The tour requires a substantial amount of walking and thesites are not accessible by wheelchair.

INSURANCE: Acting only as agents for suppliers, Goodshepherd Travel is notresponsible for damage, loss, or theft of luggage and/or personal belongings, orfor personal injury, accident, illness and/or death as a result of any occurrencesor conditions beyond its control, including, but not limited to, defects in vehicles,breakdown in equipment, strikes, terrorist attacks, hostage situations, kidnappings,hijackings, protests, riots, public demonstrations, or theft. For your protection, it isimportant that you have adequate travel insurance to cover these possibilities.Additional information and application forms for all types of coverage will be suppliedto you prior to departure.

PASSPORT: A valid passport is required and must be obtained in person byeach tour member. Complete instructions and application forms for passportscan be obtained by contacting your local courthouse or post office.

PRICE CHANGES: Tour conditions and air fares are subject to Governmental,IATA, ARC, and airline regulation requirements in effect at the date of and duringthe tour.
