There have been several new people attending the church, several of them new in the Gospel, and we believe the Lord will add many others as well. Our church has given every possible space for school classes. The school uses our building from 7 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon, and the church uses the space in the afternoons and evenings – with the exception of our pastoral and administrative offices which we use all day. Space is always the problem. We have government approved plans for a new building for the school, but lack the finances to proceed with the project. JANUARY 2019 VOLUME 41 ISSUE 1 JULIO C. My oldest grandson, Solomon – now 9, has done well with his piano classes and can read music very well. I was glad because in Latin America there are many who play the piano without being able to read notes! He is also involved in theater, singing, jujitsu along with other activities. Jonathan, 6 years old, is as loving as ever. Along with his autism, he has verbal apraxia, but now with treatment, he is starting to speak. Julia, 4, is a very happy little girl, and also very intelligent. It is so encouraging to see the children growing and over- coming their challenges. Obviously Shane and Abby

CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS SEASON… During the Christmas season and New Year I visited my family in Tennessee. It was a great family time. It is so encouraging to see the children growing and over-coming their challenges. Obviously Shane and Abby

have their hands full with challenged children, and do a really incredible job. They have learned to depend on the Lord for things that other parents take for granted. Shane has done very well at his work, and Abby at hers as a family and marriage therapist. Their church will be opening a work in their town, so they are looking forward to having a place of worship even closer to their home as well as a place where they can invite their neighbors.

We enter the New Year more challenged than ever in finances. The Lord has always come through faithfully and we trust Him to do so.

We are so thankful for all who share in this ministry by praying for us and through your financial gifts. He uses His people to walk together to see His plan come to fruition. This is really a time of faith for us and ask that you pray about walking with us in this journey as well. May the Lord richly bless you.

At the beginning of each year we hold a school board meeting to review the previous year and plan for the next.

Our pre-school received new students for the second semester, so it is growing!
