Prices range from $1.00 to $8.00, so please ensure your child has some money to buy their special person a giſt from the stall. S wimming

being an afternoon of fun, the Mini-Fete is designed

as a Maths activity for students where they get to

shop, use money and learn about ‘getting change’.

At the end of the Mini-Fete, all students are re-

quired to assist with the clean up and return to

their classes until 3:30pm.

If your child is enrolled for Prep for 2019,

you will receive a mail out regarding the

Prep transition timetable in the last week of term.

ADVENTURE CAMP FOR YEAR 5 – 6 STUDENTS Dear Parents and Guardians, In 2018 we are excited to be able to offer an opportunity for the Year 5–6 students to participate in a camp at Alexandra Adventure Resort from Wednesday 28th–Friday 30th of November. The camp is a 3 day/2 night experience at Alexandra Adventure Resort–Alexandra. The activities the students may be involved in include: The Giant Swing, Flying Fox, High Ropes Course, Rock Climbing Wall, Giant Games, Archery, Team Building Stations and many more. The aims of our school camp are: To provide opportunities for personal development through sharing responsibilities, duties and suitable facilities,

To foster positive staff/student relationships, To provide valuable educational experiences through a wide variety of activities in surrounding areas and To have FUN!!! The cost of the camp will be approximately $280. This includes all meals, except for lunch on the first day, seat-belted buses, all activities, qualified leaders and lovely clean facilities.

FURTHER INFORMATION REGARDING PAYMENT WILL BE DISTRIBUTED BEFORE THE END OF TERM 3

Fundraising News!

Chocolate Drive On Friday 31st August we will draw the winners for this year’s Chocolate Drive at assembly. Thank you all for your support of this major fundraiser at Hallam PS.

Fathers’ Day Stall Do not forget that our annual Fathers’ Day Stall is coming up tomorrow Friday 31st August and we will need some helpers to operate the stall, so if you are one of our School Council approved helpers we would appreciate some assistance in the morning to assist with the stall!

Milk & Muffin Morning Tea

FRIENDS OF EUMEMMERRING CREEK Friends of Eumemmerring Creek is a vol-unteer group that works to improve the creek and its environs by planting indige-nous plants along its banks. UPCOMING EVENTS: Saturday 15 September – Planting Day 9.30 a.m. Meet end of Stanis Street, Eumemmerring. We will be working on planting and controlling weeds in this area. BYO gloves, morning tea provided. Saturday 13 October – Weed removal day 9.30 a.m. Meet at the end of Lace Street, Eumemmerring. We will be controlling weeds and supporting young plants. BYO gloves, morning tea provided. Sunday 18 November – Planting Day 10.00 am. Meet in the Prince Mark Hotel Car Park (corner Princes Highway and Power Road) Melways 90 J11.
