I hope you'll take this letter as a show of absolute support for her potential in any professional communications setting. As a member of our intrepid intern staff, Sarah has demonstrated her skills not only as a reliable, detail- oriented writer, but also as an eager and ambitious thinker and reporter. In addition to her demanding and sometimes thankless role as fact-checker and all-around researcher for the editorial content in every issue of 5280 Magazine, she has taken the initiative to pitch her own story ideas for the front-of-the book. As an editor of that section, I truly appreciate her drive to pursue article ideas independently in the face of so many other duties, as it is not a requirement, but rather, an above-and-beyond trait that sets her apart. Sarah has also stepped up to the plate with grace and panache to tackle some clutch last-minute assignments, completing them smoothly and professionally with minimal turn-around time. She meets deadlines with ease, and it is a pleasure to edit such clean writing. I wouldn't hesitate to work with her in a freelance capacity after her internship at 5280 has ended. I have been thoroughly impressed by the way Sarah conducts herself professionally and by her skills as a reporter and writer. I look forward to seeing more of her published work in the future. Sincerely, Julie Dugdale Senior Associate Editor 5280 Magazine
