Heavenly Father, Let us pray for the sick, the lonely, and the hungry, and let us make someone’s day happier by doing a kindness not expected. May we always willingly share our blessings with those in need. And now bless this food to our use and us to Your service. Amen

About the North Florida Land Trust (NFLT)Founded in 1999, NFLT spans seven counties in our area, protecting over 1,600 acres locally, including land at Big Talbot Island, the River Branch Preserve, Pumpkin Hill State Park, Moccasin Slough, and along the St. Mary’s River. Led by 2012 Board of Directors President Brian Hershorin, Purcell, Flanagan, Hay & Greene, PA, the community-based organization operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and serves seven counties: Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam, and St. Johns. The organization relies on fundraisers and the contributions of supporters to acquire preservation lands. NFLT is a member of the national Land Trust Alliance. For more information visit www.northfloridalandtrust.org.

Bonnie Barnes, the Executive Director of North Florida Land Trust, shared with our members some of their programs and conservation efforts within North Florida.
