PCC Climate Change Programme Objectives to …

• reduce CO2 emissions from non-domestic property

• reduce waste to landfill• reduce CO2 emissions from vehicle fleet and

staff business miles• assist householders in reducing their CO2

emissions • ensure plans in place for natural and man made

emergencies• give fair regard to sustainability in its actions

• 25% reduction in CO2 emissions from non-domestic property over 5 years 2009-10 to 2014-15

• display energy certificates to improve by 2 DEC ratings by 2014-15

• 1% year on year reduction in CO2 emissions from domestic housing stock

• Low energy street lighting
