EDUCATION Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas Spring 2017 Bachelor of Arts in Political Science Overall GPR: 4.0 LEADERSHIP Texas A&M Student Body President Campaign Team October 2014 – February 2015 Rules Director Monitor a campaign team of more than fifty people with a $2000 budget to ensure that all campaign rules are followed. This is done by informing team members of all rules and monitoring their actions in the context of the campaign. Helped formulate a policy platform that has the potential to impact more than 60,000 people. Handled high pressure crisis situations during the campaign. Texas A&M College Republicans Vice-Chair April 2014 – April 2015 Instituted a system of committees that increased membership and participation by over 550%. Continue to direct the overall direction, operation, and vision of these committees. Organized and led a voter registration drive that registered hundreds of voters in Brazos County. Texas A&M Student Senate Finance Chair, Senator representing approximately 38,000 students April 2015- Present Oversee and allocate a budget of $50,000 to up to 18 entities. Monitor the expenditures and alternate incomes of these entities throughout the fiscal year. Communicate and collaborate with administration officials at Texas A&M University. Lead a committee of 8 senators that researches financial issues pertinent to the University, including tuition, fees, and state law concerning college finance. Senator, representing more than 38,000 students who live off campus February 2014 – April 2015 Researched, advocated, and legislated for issues pertinent to the Student Body of Texas A&M. Cooperated with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to better represent. Led efforts in relation to getting wind chimes put on campus to aid visually impaired students with on campus navigation. The project is currently in the initiating stages. Communicated a message via social media and interpersonal relations to reach thousands of potential voters. Boy Scouts of America Eagle Scout October 2012 Developed a sense of personal responsibility and honor in leadership roles. Coordinated, organized, and led a project of over 125 man hours that benefitted a church’s mission work. Texas Association of Student Councils Executive Board Member April 2012 – April 2013 Served as a voting member and policy contributor on the executive board of an organization with a budget of over a million dollars. Lead and organized task forces involving Texas high schools. Instructed hundreds of Texas students in leadership methodology and teamwork.

a 15-page research paper completed at the end of the Spring 2014 Semester. • Researched the background of my own protestant faith at the home and church of Martin Luther.
