University of Toledo Associate Dean of Social Sciences College of Languages, Literature and Social Sciences October 2013 to September 2014 The College of Languages, Literature and Social Sciences (LLSS) is one of three colleges derived from Arts and Sciences (the others are Natural Sciences and Mathematics, and Communications and the Arts) in 2010. As LLSS Associate Dean of the Social Sciences, I oversee the departments of Anthropology, Sociology, Political Science, Geography and Planning, Economics, and Psychology. For the College more broadly, I am responsible for developing a new database for the College, which includes its outcomes assessments (both proximal and distal), as well as College space and facilities, technology, marketing and communications, representing the college at various university events, as well as assisting the Dean with college operations and strategic planning. My postdoctoral fellowship included providing integrated psychological treatment in the partial hospitalization program, psychological testing, inpatient and day hospital group therapy, and participation in rounds, conferences, and staff meetings. My specialty focus was working in the Trauma Unit and psychological assessment. Harvard Medical School/ Internship in Clinical Psychology Massachusetts Mental Health Center Dates: July 1994 to June 1995 Boston, MA Massachusetts Mental Health Center, a teaching institution of Harvard Medical School, provides an integrated treatment approach for clients with serious mental illness; Harvard medical and graduate students also have reduced-cost treatment at MMHC. My training experience included outpatient psychotherapy, intake evaluations, and psychological assessment through MMHC and McLean Hospital. The primary focus of this training was psychodynamic and psychological assessment. Meadowlake Hospital Externship in Clinical Psychology Enid, OK Dates: September 1993 to June 1994 Meadowlake Hospital is a private hospital providing 50-bed psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment for adults, adolescents, and children.
