Amber is a social butterfly to say the least! You can find Amber talking to people everywhere, collecting friends as she goes. She is very approachable and has a wonderful way of making everyone in her life feel special. You will always find her smiling and laughing. She has recently started gardening at our home, and is planning her vegetable garden for this year. She has a deep love for many types of music , and enjoys attending concerts with me and our friends. She also loves doing yoga and taking nature hikes with our dogs. Amber loves children and I know she is going to be an awesome mom.

We are both very hard working individuals who are grateful for our careers. For six years Jon worked with Families and Children for both private and state agencies . Jon followed his childhood dream, and currently employed with CSX Transportation as a locomotive Engineer and has been there for eleven years. Amber graduated from Cosmetology School in 1995, and has been a hairstylist ever since. Amber thrives in her work, and is energized by the constant interactions with her clients. For the past eight years, Amber feels blessed that she’s been able to work for herself and run her own business. This will allow us to be very flexible when we start our family.

Over 7 years ago we met on E-Harmo-ny, started dating and never looked back! We’ve been married alost 5 years now and are extremely devoted to each other. Our Marriage is found-ed on Respect, Love and our Faith in God.After many disappointments we have embraced adoption as a beauti-ful opportunity to start a family. We feel we are on the right path.

Jon is a big ole teddy bear! From the first time we met, one thing that has always stood out to me was his love for his mother. He checks on his mom every day. I mean EVERY day, and I absolutely love that about him. He works hard and embraces his family. Jon’s passion for Kentucky Basketball is tremendous to say the least. He also enjoys woodworking, and has recently built me a gardening table. He enjoys reading fiction, particularly Steven King, and also has a soft spot for a wide variety of music. He’s much quieter than I am, which makes us a great balance for each other. Kids gravitate towards Jon, and I know he’ll make a wonderful dad.

Our neighborhood is wonderful, we have a perfect yard to play in with lots of flowers, a family patio, a warm firepit, and a relaxing hammock under two big, beautiful trees! Nearby are several parks. Our favorite is the Nature Center and of course, who doesn’t love the Bike Trail? We have two dogs who already adore kids. Our Godchildren have spoiled these two, who are also anxiously anticipating the growth of our family. One small, and one big; Winston is a spunky Bichon Frise and while small and fluffy, don’t let him fool you, he’s the one in charge! Kiah is our Mastiff mix, and very much a gentle giant. Our home is ready for a special baby. We look forward to sharing our love for nature, gardening, walking barefoot in the grass, music, animals and we have always wanted to share Christmas morning with our special child. We want you to know your baby will be raised with pride in who they are and pride in their Birthmother and the decision you made to choose the best life for your baby.
