Joint and circuit notices Friday 13th October Circuit prayer meeting at Cayton—10am for refreshments ; 10.45am for prayers Pearl of Africa Children's Choir from Uganda are back doing a UK tour and will be performing at Queen St on Friday 13th October at 7pm—9pm (also Northstead primary school 11th Oct 6.30pm) - free admission, donations to the Molly and Paul Child Care foundation which runs 6 schools, 9 childrens homes and a medical centre in Uganda. African crafts will also be on sale. Saturday 28 th October 2017 7:30pm Concert by One Sound(Formerly MAYC Singers & Orchestra) at Queen Street Methodist Church— tickets £10, concessions £7.50 available from the circuit office or Rev Graham Morgan. Help is needed at Queen St to provide lunch and dinner from Thurs 26th—Sat 28th—please contact Shirley Broddle (372822) if you can help at any time ([email protected] ) The Archbishop of York is visiting Scarborough next weekend and on Sat. will be in the market hall between 11am and 12md (with Pearl of Africa choir), Solid Rock café 12.1512.45pm or outside M&S between 3 and 4pm. There is also an all age event at the Scarborough Fair collection on Sunday 15th Oct—see poster for details. Revd Dorothy Jane Bell will be installed as Priest- in-charge of St Columba and St James parishes on Tues 31st Oct at St Columbas at 7.30pm. If you wish to attend please let Ann know by Oct 15th so we can RSVP to the invitation sent to Northstead members. Gifts of tinned or dried food, or money are requested for the Rainbow Centre who had a lot of stock destroyed in the recent floods. If you can help with flowers please see Chris Macer—thankyou. A request from Emma—if you use any eggs next week please clean the shell (intact as poss.) and bring next Sun.
