We are seeking a Permanent Part Time Registered Nurse to join our team in Castlegar, BC! If you are an experienced Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse with exceptional interpersonal skills who loves working in a flexible environment, we want to hear from you!

As the Clinical Practice Consultant you will champion, guide and lead the delivery of a comprehensive Wound, Ostomy and Continence program for clients. The ideal applicant will be passionate about creating change and will be responsible for promoting the delivery of quality client care by providing clinical consultation and expertise, education and direction based on a specialized body of knowledge to interdisciplinary team members.

This role will collaborate with other Nurses specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC); research and evaluate current wound, ostomy & continence standards and facilitate the development and implementation of program policies and procedures, education programs for staff and quality improvement initiatives, incorporating evidence based ‘best practices’.

Qualifications:• Successful completion of the Wound, Ostomy & Continence Institute’s Wound,

Ostomy & Continence Education Program• Three years recent, relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education,

training and experience. • Current practicing registration with the British Columbia College of Nursing

Professionals (BCCNP). • Valid motor vehicle license.
