Became a key player in the effort to re-baseline computer systems to the new NT 4.0 structure, as well as in the installation and integration of new systems coming into the agency.

Responsible for software acquisitions for his office, working with vendors and contractors to ensure that new software products coming into the agency are properly integrated and tested for compatibility with various existent operating systems and software. He also lead the effort within his office to assure that all agency computers are Y2K compliant, and is responsible for Y2K training of his co-workers.

As Computer Customer Support, I was responsible for providing front line support to over 200 customers in designing and writing programs in IBM MVS JCL, FORTRAN, PL1, and C. Also backed up an Automated FTP applications that delivered and received signals intelligence from field sites and embassies world-wide. His position was considered mission-critical to the agency during the Iraqi crisis, during which he was on-call 24 hours a day to provide any and all possible support.
