Other Contributions to Instructional Programs:
Finamore, page 9
Spring-Fall 2008: Working with Steve Wessells, ITS Academic Technologies, to augment the existing Classics Greek and Latin Drill software system for the Word Power course, to utilize intelligent queuing of missed items by incorporating the CTS developed Drill Designer Webservice into the Classic Flash movie Fall 2004: Web-based computer drill for 20E:050 Word Power (http://www.uiowa.edu/~classics/finamore/wordpower.html). There are two drills, one for English words with Latin elements and one for English words with Greek elements. The drill allows the student to highlight the Latin/Greek element, define what the element means, and then define the whole word. Steve Wessells, ITS Academic Technologies, worked with me on this project Spring 2004: Grant proposal for a new instructional drill (housed on the internet) for 20E:050 Word Power Summer 1998: nTitle Faculty Workshop 1995-1999: Computer drill for an etymology course (Greek and Latin for Vocabulary Building) (with E.B.
