EducationThe principal called Jack a “mucker”, someone who was always late for school and had bad grades. Jack didn’t care though. In fact, he made a mucker club. Soon there where over a dozen members. But then a rumor started that the mucker club was going to smuggle some horse manure onto the dance floor at a school dance. The principal called Jack’s parents and that was the end of the mucker club. Jack graduated and went to Harvard University where he studied political science. Career in the NavyJ.F.K was in the navy. He was the leader of a ship called the PT-109, or patrol torpedo-109. His crew’s job was to find and sink any battleship with their torpedoes. Once his ship got split in half by a Japanese destroyer and the ship exploded. Two of Jack’s men died and the rest had to swim to an island 3 miles away. One person was badly hurt, so Jack took the strap from his life jacket and put it between his teeth and swam towing him along. During this time John’s older brother, Joe, was shot and killed in the war.

So then Jack’s father used his money to buy a lot of advertisements. Jack’s mother and sisters held tea parties to introduce him to the voters, and Jack went and gave lots of speeches. Jack won the election easily. Later he ran for senate and became the senator. One night at a dinner party Jack met a girl named Jacqueline Bouvier. During his presidency the U.S.A. and the soviet union were in a cold war which isn’t a real war. The Soviet Union wanted to put nuclear missiles in Cuba to fire at the US. A spy camera took a picture of a nuclear defense bunker under construction and then John had a plan. He surrounded Cuba with ships so supply ships couldn’t bring in supplies. The plan worked and he prevented a nuclear war.
