As we grow older, our lashes become thinner, lighter and more brittle. LATISSE® is the first and only FDA-approved prescription treatment for hypotrichosis (inadequate eyelashes) that is clinically proven to promote the growth of longer, fuller, darker lashes. Its active ingredient, bimatoprost, is believed to lengthen the growth phase of the lashes and keep them from falling out as quickly as they normally might. LATISSE® can also be used to enhance thinning eyebrows.

Results may improve even more over a longer period of time. In fact, some patients have discontinued LATISSE® and opted for a non-prescription maintenance product because their lash length exceeded expectations!

LATISSE® has been proven safe and effective through clinical trials. Side effects are rare, but may include redness or itching. Less common side effects include skin darkening, redness of the eyelids and eye irritation. Patients with blue eyes should be especially cautious when using LATISSE®, as incorrect application could cause blue eyes to become brown or discolored over time.

LATISSE® is convenient to use and easy to add as a final step in any skin care regimen.
LATISSE® should be applied once in the evening to just the upper lashes. Do not use LATISSE® on the lower lash line.
Remove makeup, cleanse your face as you normally would and apply all other skin care products. Place a drop of LATISSE® on one of the clean applicators provided and draw it carefully along the skin at the base of the upper lashes. Blot excess beyond the eyelid with a tissue. LATISSE® may also be used in the same way to enhance thinning brows.
