The company was set up in 1994 with the key objective of bringing the

world renowned brand JOCKEY to India. Its promoters, Genomalfamily, had then been associated with JOCKEY International Inc. for 50years as their sole licensee in the Philippines.

The Company is the licensee of JOCKEY International Inc. (USA) formanufacture and distribution of the JOCKEY brand innerwear/leisurewear

for men and women in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal

In the early 1990s, when globalization was just unfolding in India,innerwear was a low involvement category for consumers. There was noorganized international innerwear brand retailed in India. Page IndustriesLtd identified this need and introduced a wide range of quality products formen and women employing modern global marketing and distributionmethods.

The company commenced operations in the year 1995 with themanufacturing, distribution and marketing of Jockey products. As of endof July 2012, the companys workforce numbered 13,000 people withmanufacturing operations spread over ten plants in Bangalore, totaling1,050,000 square feet of space

Page Industries commands wide spread pan India distributionencompassing over 23,000 plus retail outlets in 1,200 cities and towns andhas revolutionized the innerwear market by launching exclusive JOCKEYoutlets across India numbering 79 as of September 2012.

In 2005 and 2009, the company was awarded the "best licensee of theyear" by Jockey International Inc., as recognition for its outstandingachievement in establishing and strengthening the JOCKEY brand as amarket leader in India

In 2010, the Company bagged the "International Licensee of the Decade"award for achieving record growth year after year, offering world classproducts and maintaining global quality standards across all operations

Page Industries was honored by Jockey International Inc. with theInternational Licensee of the year award for 2012-2013, outperforming140 other countries where the Jockey brand is present. This award was

given in recognition of outstanding brand building, consistent healthygrowth in sales, and remarkable product development and innovation inour markets

In the 2012 Page Industries added another feather to its cap by becomingthe exclusive licensee of Speedo International Ltd. for the manufacture,marketing and distribution of the Speedo brand in India

Speedo products include swimwear, water shorts, apparel, equipment andfootwear. The Speedo brand is now available in 410 stores including large

format stores in 12 cities and two Speedo exclusive brand outlets locatedin Delhi and Bangalore

Speedo is the number one brand and product choice for swimmers aroundthe world. While swimwear in India is still at a nascent stage, theprospects for this category are exciting
